Staining Lodge Golf Course

Recommend this course to everyone it's in great condition and the greens so fast and true.

The staff are very friendly and helpful, the only downside I found was some players not repairing the ball divots on the greens.

Certainly will be returning to play more golf there.

Course was in fantastic condition. The rough was cut right down which helped with them wayward shots . Greens were in top condition as always . Love playing here . We travel from Liverpool to play .

Relaxed enjoyable course some testing holes and some nice views.

Course in good condition. A bit hilly in places, but a good test of golf skills. Decent grub on offer afterwards. Definitely worth a visit. Recommended.

Played this course on Saturday in windy conditions, we both have not been playing long but this is by far the best course we have played, great holes and fantastic surroundings, we warmed up on the range there before playing, I have had a lesson with Tony Johnstone there and it was fantastic we have booked again for this Saturday carnt wait would recommend this course to everyone

Good weather, round in 3 hours so all good, only gripe are the tee boxes, need to make an attempt to sand and flatten them out.

First time playing the course, a pleasant experience.

The clubhouse is beautifully presented, a very inviting place for a pre round coffee and watch a few people off the 10th tee.

Our round was quite slow, in excess of 4 hours behind a four-ball.

The course itself has potential, the layout has interest, with a nice variety of hole design. The layout has a series of tee shots that are played over brows or to blind landing areas, where the addition of some marker posts and bells might be advantageous.

Course conditions were largely very good but bunkers were heavily used, with many footprints throughout.

Second time playing here and was similarly impressed

We were following a 4 ball so as a 2 we were expecting a slow day but we kept going and lads in front kept going as well

Being a youngish course it’s open to the sea breeze

4 ball ducked out at 9th for a brew so we went through which was a bonus

Ended round after 3:15 so was a good walk
