Nice course
Stocksfield is a good course with a few tricky holes. The greens were fast but sadly a few of them are in need of some attention around the edges where the grass has completely gone. Very friendly in the clubhouse and nice to see the outside space has been revamped.

Excellent condition
Best condition I’ve played Stocksfield. Dry summer has really helped the couple of greens that normally take a hit in the wet weather. Front 9 good fun and tight through the trees. Definitely worth a knock and the grub is great aswell.

Very slow play, not for the first time
Fantastic course, Would play again but the slow play made the tempo of our game very disjointed, this has happened the last twice I have played here.

First 9 holes were a bit too wet and fairways inconsistant though still an enjoyable challenge. Second 9 in good nick. Look forward to next visit in summer.

Friendly people
We played a late afternoon round on a weekend and had the course to ourselves. The pro allowed us to tee off early and he was very friendly. The course is very nice , the first half is short but tricky the second half is less developed and more open. We got around as a 2 ball in just over 3 hours. We finished the round with a coffee in the warm and welcoming clubhouse. The staff and the members were very friendly. We will definitely return.
