Good challenge
Played a 4 ball and all enjoyed the course. Bit soggy in places as to be expected. Good course layout and some challenging holes. Would come back again.
Perfect greens
I came here following a particularly wet period and understood the course to be playable, which it was - provided you kept to the fairways!
Autumn afternoon last minute booking
The helpful staff enabled me to tee off on the back nine first so I wouldn't be held up by larger groups in front. Firstly the greens are in excellent condition, running fast, the best I have known them in many years. The tees have a lot of divots. It would be nice if they were filled in sooner. Given the dry summer, some of the fairways have hard and bare patches. Overall a lovely experience, I will be back soon.
Always enjoyable
Our 4-ball plays this course often and we always enjoy it. Course generally and greens in particular are in good nik. Last 3 holes can ruin your card.
Only done 9 holes took 3hours
As I said in title took 3 hrs walked off after 9 no marshal helping move things along even though there was one there utter joke

Golf course
Very good and long challenging course the only thing was the fairways were rock hard but due the hot weather recently
Enjoyable round
The course was a little unusual with 3no. Consecutive Par 5's on the front nine, and the short par 3 15th where you walk all the back on yourself after playing it to the 16th tee; but it was in good condition and it was a fair test. Greens rolled lovely, and some really nice old trees around the course. You certainly have to hit some proper shots. Would certainly play again.
Midweek afternoon
Nice course, showing some signs of the recent dry weather. Friendly staff. Round slightly spoilt by slow play. Saw a five player group on the 17th!
First time paying.
A truly splendid course. This course has a super layout, it is very well kept with friendly staff and super off course facilities.
