Very slow play, booked a tee time yet players teed off 30 seconds before me, by the time we played the 8th 4 groups were playing the same hole, gave up at this point

Nicely laid out "club" course in the hills/slopes above and adjacent to the race course. Quite a few blind holes, which present challenges, but we managed to stay close to the group in front , which was a great help. Beware SI1, there's a flipping great chasm that you can't see.

We thoroughly enjoyed the round and consider it good value for money. However, it was a bit of a surprise to be told on arrival that the course was wet so we had to carry a mat and use it in all general play areas. Additionally, we learned that the members were having a "Greenkeeper's Revenge" competition so half of the tee positions would be in virtually impossible positions. We weren't upset by these issues but I could imagine some visitors being quite upset. It would be worthwhile forewarning peoples so they could consider playing at a different time.

Decides to cancel buggies when we arrived, then changed their minds 10 mins later, followed a 6 ball around , foot golf flags right next to the greens, walked off after 9 , used to be a decent course, will not be returning

First course visit and met with a nice Staff welcone. Good advice and direction provided to get around the course. The course was very mature with an excellent tree lines and scenic views which were all depicted in the drone videos of the course ... worth considering

Played Uttoxeter for the first time. I was pleasantly surprised at the great condition of the greens and the whole state of the course, well worth the £19 green fee. Disappointed to arrive an hour before my tee time to be told by a lady in the pro shop "The caterers are on holiday" we then finished our round at 4:30pm in glorious sunshine to be told again by the bar maid "The person who drops the chips in the fryer has gone out to play golf now"

We ended up going to Weatherspoon's before and after! The club would have had another £30 out of me and my playing partner should a sensible plan be put in place for someone to serve food.

Great challenging course, in super condition. Need to think about every hole especially the blind tee shots.

Well worth the money. Shame the,kitchen wasn't open for breakfast, but Wetherspoon in Uttoxeter was perfect. Will definitely return.

Good greens and fairways rough was a little scrappy but cut to a good challenging length without being too frustrating for high handicap players

The course was in great condition with fantastic greens and set out well to require positional shots not just long drives. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Greeted me upon arrival, made sure I knew where I was going and offered me a few local tips on some of the trickier holes.

One of the best experiences I’ve had from this app! I’ll be back very soon.

Friendly staff, enjoyable course in good condition. Very hilly in places butthis gives amazing views of staffirdshire countryside. A nice testing course that makes you think your way round.

Course in really good condition. Greens a little on the slow side, but very even and consistent. Just a real shame that the weather deteriorated through the round and unable to complete last 3 holes

Booked the 7am tee time before we went to the LIV golf at jcb. Staff and members were really friendly. The course itself was in amazing condition. Quite a hilly course with some really great views, some absolutely stunning holes especially the 18th. Bring a fairway finder for some of the holes and always check the hole layout on the tee box. Would definitely play her again.

A course in great conditions greens were small but immaculate would definitely play again great value for money a bit hilly but very nice underfoot

Course pace of play was very slow 4hrs 50mins

Need a few more bells on blind holes and players need to be told at club shop to ring them
