Played Walsall golf course 3/4 times this year !

I think it’s great playing greens have got better over the summer

The course was in excellent condition and combined with a great pace of play , had a good round of golf. From tee , the fairways and greens were extremely well kept and my son, who had not played here before, found it very good.

The pace of play was also very good throughout.

The layout was very good with a mixture of long Par 3's, 4's and 5's The 18th providing a nice par finish for me following a 50 yard chip to within 2 foot of the pin.

A nice welcome from the staff in the bar and drink to finish off.

First time here and from arrival just quality. From the first Tee to the last the layout and design was great. The course does entice your heart to try and drive those par 4’s but keep your head and pick lay ups to shoot low around here. The greens are sublime and reward good reads. And the surrounding trees and flowers are a picture. My one and only niggle is some of the bunkers were a little clumpy and hard. But the round was excellent 👍

Can not really fault this cause today. In wonderful condition, pace play was really good. Called through several times,so 3 hours to go round. Best value course in the midlands. Can't wait to play here again. Only one s.mall complaint are the bunkers don't have enough sand. Greens,fairways all good.

Lovely course with some challenging holes. Well laid out and maintained. Staff very friendly and welcoming as were the lady and gentleman members we spoke to before and after our game.

Enjoyed Saturday pm round with 2 friends. The course was in good condition well maintained and very attractive with lots of mature trees

First time playing here and I wasn’t expecting the experience we had for the money. Course is set up stunning and every t box was mint. Greeens were in good nick and the pins in hard locations but enjoyable. Few patches on the fairways need attention but doesn’t affect your round at all. This will be my go too course from now on

Having last played the course some 30 years ago it was every bit as good as I remembered it. From the friendly welcome, through the pace of play, plus the condition of the course, so early in the year, everything was superb. It is a classic example of a good old traditional Alister MacKenzie designed course, not overlong but demanding careful course management.

I would be more than happy to play this more regularly if I lived in the area.

First time playing here really nice course well maintained better than calderfields !! By a large margin value for money is good too considering membership.

The golf course was generally in decent condition, with some areas showing wear, but it played surprisingly well. The staff in the pro shop were friendly and informed me about the "Green Keeps Revenge" event held that morning, which included some challenging pin placements.

However, there was a downside: I encountered rude members who nearly hit me on multiple occasions without any warning shouts of "fore." When I inquired about the lack of alerts, I was questioned about my handicap as if it were relevant to the situation. Even after addressing the issue, there was no apology offered.

Due to the unpleasant behavior of some members, I do not plan to return.
