Easy to book via golf now and found a bargain price after 3pm and booked in easily when I got to the course. The professional was very friendly and helpful so it was good to be welcomed. Gave me the code for the changing rooms as appropriate and explained where the practice green and other facilities were. Teed off without any waiting

and there were no hold ups all the way round. The course was in decent condition considering weve had no rain for weeks. There were barren fairways in places but mostly decent lies to be found. The greens were mostly small and tricky but in decent condition too along with the bunkers. Its not overly long but still a decent challenge with a good variety of holes. Some awkward long par fours, difficult par threes but also other opportunities give you chance for birdie (I only got one on the day though) along with a few sixes.

I didnt use the off course amenities but can say there are good toilet/changing facilities.

The members were friendly enough on the course and in other areas which is always a good sign when you are a new face. Ive just joined a local course nearer to me but that course is closed for maintenance this week so went for a game at walsall. I would definitely return again and can recommend.

Course was fine ..the customer service was dire to be fare ..had to wait for women to turn up in shop to serve us ..then to be told we wasnt booked on ...frowned upon because of there imcompetence ..because they hadnt put it on system ..not of it my fault ...i suggest the lady in question finds a new career not in hospitality..but in something like mining where decor is not needed

Great challenging course! Ground was hard but to be expected due to dry spell we have had, greens were in great condition and receptive! Although for the majority it’s a short course it’s challenging with some narrow tee shots and hills to play up and down. Will definitely be playing here again!

Course was very good, great value for money. Nice pace of play on the front nine. But everything backed up on the 10th. Then noticed the blue rinse brigade on the 11th, obviously not letting other players through. So spoiled a good day.

Decided to play on my own which isn't a new thing for me and walking to the first tee there was a four ball in front. Didn't get held up at all.

Course in great condition especially greens and tees and while fairways are yellow like everywhere else still very good. Found myself in 5 greenside bunkers but all had the right amount of sand for me to escape first time on each.

Front 9 I find doesn't require the big stick but back 9 becomes longer and you can pull it out the back a few times. All holes have there own challenge but think the 18th par 5 us a great finishing hole. Driver, 3 wood 2 putt birdie to finish.

Would definitely recommend at this time of year.

Teed off just before 9am on a hot day. 4 ball got round well under 4 hours so good pace. Course and greens in very good shape. Tight in places and hard bounces can leave you in trouble on occasions. Staff all helpful, very nice sandwich lunch and a refreshing shandy.

A good afternoon of golf however I would’ve thought the bar would’ve stayed open a bit longer. We finished at 7:15pm and it was all closed up.
