Gem of a course
Two mates and myself played The Wensum course for the first time on Saturday afternoon and were totally surprised by a great little golf course that has everything.
Great lay out, great condition, great natural views over the Wensum Valley & on the second nine lots of testing water hazards..
Pace was good, toilets & seating dotted about the course( why don't more courses do this) and very friendly staff in the bar with reasonably priced food too.
The three of us had a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon.

Great golf course
Played the Wensum, really impressed especially with the holes around the river, challenging but rewarding.
Bar area was a real let down though, urgently in need of an upgrade. Many areas were dirty and language from a group of customers was awful.

Really well laid out course, great overall conditions with interesting and challenging greens!!
Would defiantly recommend this golf course.
Valley course
Nice course and nice place to play friendly people. Good food at good price.
Great for beginner
I only took up golf last year and play about once a month if I can at different courses. Hadn't played here before so thought I would try with a friend. Really enjoyed the course, interesting holes with lovely elevated tee on a couple of holes. Could do with a couple of signs to make it a little clearer where to go for next hole but we managed OK, would definitely play there again.
Excellent value for money that would challenge beginner and advanced players
Reasonable course at an excellent price so VERY good value for money. Not as scary as some reviews may suggest but four holes are VERY tricky. If you get through them without loosing a ball or two you have done very well. The rest of the course is challenging but not daunting. At the price highly recommended.
Excellent Course - Well worth a visit
Played on the early Bank Holiday in May. Staff were very polite and super prompt in getting us onto the first tee. Fairways in great condition, the greens were super slick but some very covered in varying length grass - but really minimal. The middle section of the course has stunning scenery around the water hazards.
Overall, a great days golf - highly recommended.
