Lovely course - Pace of play abysmal
This was my first time playing this course and I was very much looking forward to it. The course was in immaculate condition. However. For reasons I simply cannot understand a four ball would not allow 2 solo players to play through. I myself was behind a solo gentleman in front and I was told on multiple occasions that he had been up on the tee box with this group and they were not allowing him to play through which kept around 3 or 4 groups behind. It took me nearly 2 hours to get to hole 9 as a one ball. In the end I ended up missing half the course because there was not enough light. Extremely dissapointing round and paid for only half a round.
Despite constant reminders on the course to keep up with speed of play etc.
Gem of a course
Been meaning to play here for a good few months and was not disappointed. The course is challenging and in great condition. The awful wind and rain did not put off a very enjoyable afternoon. A gem of a course, I will be back!

Golfing in the mist
Great course and excellent friendly welcome on a busy hot Sunday afternoon. Unfortunately literally as we Tee d off sea mist rolled in .
Around half the homes were played without a clue as to the green position never mind the pin .
Great course tho and worth a visit especially if booked as a hot deal . Absolute bargain for a great track .
Great course
Had a great day at whitley bay. Staff were welcoming and very friendly. Great course and in good condition despite the very hot conditions. Greens were immaculate

Hidden Gem!
Hidden gem outside Newcastle’s centre. I’ve played there a couple of times now, always managed to get a friendly member to take me around and mark my card. The 12th hole is Epic!
Tough in the wind
Great course, very well kept, rough when the wind blew with deep rough
Great golf but not friendly
Course was lovely. A bit dry but that’s to be expected. The members however were very unfriendly. They spoiled what could have been a lovely day. Staff were great.
