Bedlingtonshire Golf Club

My wife and I are just new to the game and this was our first time playing this course. We were greeted by very friendly people in the club shop and made to feel welcome. The course was beautiful and green and in very good condition. A lovely experience all around.

Course was in good condition, decent layout and greens were true. slightly slow but they looked like they were just scarified so might be letting them recover but overall good experience!

Will not hesitate to go back if I’m in the area again. Staff were more than helpful and members were really friendly and helpful too. Facilities were really good and the course played really well. Greens were perfect. Can’t beat this place for value for money.

I arrived to find the locker room closed so went to get the door code from the pro shop. The staff member was not in the shop but talking to some lads outside. I asked him for the door code and his reply was "What for?" I said to get changed to play golf. He gave me it on the way to checking me in. I got changed and came back to the shop for a drink but it was shut and he was stood talking to the lads again. He said "What do you want now?" So I said a drink. He opened the shop and then said to me "You aren't playing in those" I was wearning trainers and explained I was changing them to golf shoes when I got my clubs from the car. I came back round to the 1st tee box and he shouted at me " I SAID YOU AREN'T PLAYING IN THOSE!" I looked down at me golf shoes and said "What's wrong with these?" He shouted "YOU ARENT GOING ON THE COURSE IN TRACKSUIT BOTTOMS!" I walked over to him and showed him they were water proof golf trousers, which the lads next to him confirmed. No apology from this rude, grumpy man, but the start of my round was ruined. I won't be back here unless they get some competent, friendly staff.

Disgraceful behaviour.

When we arrived were made aware that there was a competition in front of us and play may be slow. We were informed our round would likely take 4.5 hours which was fine as we’re terrible golfers.

The course was in excellent condition, absolutely no complaints at all. Greens were fast and the course was lush.

Played course last year 2024 and was fantastic,

Played today and should of been off as was frozen solid, club house closed when came off to warm up, such a shame,

Booked bedlington golf club for a bargain price on golf now. Even though I only live 15 mins away I’ve never played it.

Really nice course that challenges you from the get go with two back to back par 5’s.

A few temporary greens which we weren’t made aware of when checking in for our round.

This is one of the better and challenging courses in the area.

Long and difficult but thoroughly enjoyable.great value for money.. definitely play it again.

Very nice course to play, conditions are immaculate and it has those little extras that you’d expect from a better calibre course. Enjoyable but the holes did feel very “samey”, driver, wedge, putt, nothing on the 4’s or 5’s really felt challenging, but I would play again 100%!

Course in great condition it long but very playable with having 5 par 5s.Greens were excellent and tricky.My 5th or 6th time here

Superb front 9 score faltered on the back 9,which is possibly harder
