Tough rough!
Lovely course, fantastic views but suffered from both the semi and rough being far too long resulting in lost balls just off the fairway. Would play again in summer!
Really Disappointing
Weeks behind other courses in the Bradford area, played West Bradford and Hollins Hall the week previous for £13 and £16 and both are in much better condition than Woodhall £24. A shame as i really like Woodhall but almost like winter golf still boggy and wet, semi rough 6 inch long, pathways under construction and not a groundsman to be seen.
To top off what was a dissapointing round chopping out of the 6 inch semi rough and loosing balls on the fairways we encountered 20 or so senior members walking down the fairway of the eighteenth which is a blind tee shot! God knows how we managed to not hit someone, totally bizarre not the behaviour I would expect from members who love to complain about slow play and course etiquette.
Won't be playing again until the course is sorted out. Much better/cheaper options in the area
Full price for 12 holes
Only 12 holes open including a temporary hole yet we were still charged the full price of the round. Definitely would not recommend
Lady in clubhouse really nice, golf course set up for winter conditions but not marked out very well. That’s ok for me. The real problem is the people that go there ( I was warned by a friend) very rude impatient people ( could have worded that differently but I’ll keep it respectful) you get a lot of clowns from pudsey going so I think that’s it! One instance was someone swearing at my teenage daughter for no real reason! Shame,
Good golf course
I highly recommended it’s a great course, great value
The worst course I have ever played, avoid.
Pace of play awful, nearly hit by a ball 3 times. Players on the course in football shirts smoking weed, driving buggies wherever they wanted. One person teed off whilst I was on the fairway, and then proceeded to shout at me for asking why he did.
The course clearly let anyone and everyone on without any care for course etiquette, honestly the worst course I have ever played in my golfing life. I wouldn’t play it again even if you paid me £100.
Thrills, hills and six ballers
Quite a nice course, hilly in parts but the clue I suppose is in the name. Some very quirky lovely greens particularly the par 3s very nice. Clubhouse facilities etc nice and friendly. I like how they let 3 couples play a six ball together (3 men 3 ladies) any other course I know would have been up in arms but credit for letting them play together and to the 2 ball behind them who must have enjoyed the 4-5 hours behind them. Thankfully we were on 6th as they were playing 12th and walking off 10th as they were teeing off on 17th so didn't bother us. All in all was a good test and greens in good condition. Worth a visit but not on couples day I suppose unless they let you through.
Very hills and a difficult walk if carrying.
Course is fine but steep for £35-40 for the facilities imo. Very hilly. And always feels like you are playing uphill which makes the course more difficult
Greens
The greens need a bit of work as the seemed to have beef scarred by bird droppings and need attention.
