played this course last year and wasn't impressed but decided to give it another chance and I wasn't impressed again

One of the worst maintained course I have ever played on u couldn't tell the first cut from the fairways

At the back of one green there was a live wire showing out an electrical box !!!

Sand was like concrete I could go on and on !!!

This is not an 18 hole course

This is advertised as an 18 hole course. It is 9 holes. Theres is no sign telling you where to go. 2 holes on most greens. Also not the same course that is connected on swing u. Wouldnt recommend especially if you havent been as we have no clue where we were going half the time

Used to be great but not now

Played it a few times when it was 18 holes. Used to have some really good holes which unfortunately have all gone now it’s a 9 holer.

Course condition was ok.

Bunkers were terrible.

Greens were gd.

I won’t be hurrying back to ever play this course.

A bit sad to see.

It will probably end up closing altogether.

Dissapointed

Course was nice

Felt it was lacking in sign posting to next holes and no signs to indicate yards of each hole

Also was members of public walking there dogs across the course continually as well as someone sunbathing on one of the course tees during our game

Now only a 9 hole

£35 for a 9 hole with not a single tee box marker and scorecards were still showing 18 holes. This course was changed to a 9 hole about a year ago the staff member said. Terrible value would not recommend. Couldn’t even tell what hole you weee playing and yardages were all wrong due to GPS still showing the old 18 hole course. Land looks to have been sold to housing.

Played today, first round this season.

Course was in great shape, no mean feat given recent weather.

Great vfm.

9 hole course

Poor lay out, not told its a 9 hole course, given a map at the clubhouse of 18 holes, couldnt find the next tee box as went from 4th to 13th, paid for 18 holes on this and didnt even finish the 9. I dont mind laying more for a 9 hole course if its a good course but really not worth the money

Also directions on maps are wrong spent about 15 mins trying to find the place as this takes you to the greenkeepers house which is a closed gate at the wrong end of the course

Torrance Park - holes reduced

I paid for & travelled 25miles to play a new 18hole course, only to find it had been reduced to 9 holes some months beforehand!

Golf Now have been informed by the golf course of this reduction but still advertise it as 18 holes.

I feel cheated & have overpaid

NOT 18 ANYMORE

I paid for 18 holes, but this course has been down to 9 holes for at least 5 months !!

No one at check-in said it was now down to 9 & the 2 cards they gave us had a map on the back with 18 holes mapped out!

We asked what else we needed to know - but the young lad who checked us in said "nothing"

9 hole course not 18

Course was in decent condition but was terrible for signposting to next tee ciuldnt find our way anywhere, handed a scorecard which had 18 holes, couldn't find the 5th spoke to some else playing on the 4th green to be told its a 9 hole course not 18, absolutely not worth the money for a 9 hole course.

Nightmare to find aswell pin online takes you to the greenkeepers gate thats locked

Course has recently changed to 9 hole from 18, staff were helpful and friendly. Practice facilities 2 netting cages good nets but mats could do to be replaced

Practice putting green not great but the course greens more than made up for it fair and true roll on course

Current 9 holes are a good mix of lengths to use most of the clubs and a par 36

Now only 9 holes

Booked for 18 holes, on arrival was informed that the course was now only 9 holes.

Offered a refund but had booked for 18.

Directions from the staff want the best. The course was not sign posted on what holes you could now play.

Will not book here again,
