About
Alhambra Golf Course has a player-friendly design that is ideal for beginners but also great for more experienced players who are looking for a quick but fun round. The layout is a shorter par-71 design at 5,478 yards. It may not be long but it offers plenty of other challenges. There is plenty of variety between the two vastly different nines. The front nine holes are fairly flat, parkland holes with generous fairways lined with trees. The beginning holes provide a good warm-up for Alhambra Golf Course's more difficult back nine where you'll have to use every club in your bag. The back sprawls across rolling terrain, incorporating elevation changes ranging from subtle to dramatic. There are also more strategically placed bunkers on the back nine. Alhambra's 16th is the signature hole. This tricky par 5 begins with an intimidating tee shot over water in order to reach the fairway.

Standard Short LA Muni
First time playing Alhambra. Played during a weekday afternoon with a little bit of rain in the forecast so the pace of play was good.
The greens were in great shape, they held the ball but were relatively soft. Ball marks were repaired and there were no noticeable dead spots or alternative grasses.
The tee boxes are relatively well maintained but clearly receive a lot of play.
Holes are short and tight, mostly protected with trees on both sides.
Fairway lies are what you’d expect from a typical muni. Good lies 50/50.
Driving range is a multi-tier setup with lights at night. Nice seating areas behind each bay for groups.
Restaurant / bar is a good setup with great staff!
Nice little course tucked away in Alhambra
This course has a lot of undulations in the fairways and greens that make it fairly challenging. There are a few drainage channels that run across a few of the fairways that you either have to go for it or lay-up and play strategically. Ball washers at every hole, which I really like. The layout is logical and it's easy to find the net hole. Great driving range, pitching and putting greens. I had a good time.

Short winter day
This round started after 12pm which allowed for 15 holes before it was too dark for me to see. I joined a father and his 2 sons ages 8? to 10?. We managed to keep moving along and not hold anyone up. The kids reminded me of what flexibility looks like.

Has potential
Course is a nice layout. Lots of birds, so lots of poop in every fairway and green. Pace of play was slow, 3 solo walkers sent out before me, they should have been grouped up but they weren’t. Waiting on every tee box, and took over 2 hours to play 9 holes. Also, you hear someone yell FORE about once every 5 minutes. A good budget friendly course for the average player
Duck Stuff
Course was in great condition, there was just a few areas where you had to be careful where you stepped because of duck and geese poop, otherwise I had a great time, and would highly recommend!!
Great experience
No complaints. The course was busy. The staff was helpful and polite. I got paired with another golfer and enjoyed it. Really worked out well for me.
