Verrado Golf Club - Victory Course

All was great except pace of play. Front 9 was quick, but at the turn ran into what appeared to be a bunch of foursomes and no Marshall to try and help. Front 9 in under 2 hours, back 9 in just over 2.5 hours. Pace of ply was the only downfall of the day.

Greens were bumpy from ball marks the par 3s were really bad but were receptive

The Victory course is great. 4 of us tee'd it up for the first time at the Victory course. We've played the Founder's course a few times and wanted to try out Victory. We were not disappointed. Two knocks against Victory:

1) There was a 6-some of ladies in front of us for the first 9 holes. I'm sure they were members and playing in a league, but they could have let us play through. They weren't super slow, but slow enough to where we finished in the dark.

2) One of our carts died. The other cart had to push the cart that died from tee to green for 3 holes.

I recommend the course to anyone.

Course in great shape, good pace 4.25 hr round which is good for this course. I’ll be back again

Fairways could have been better.

Greens were almost too fast.

The views are excellent. The pin placements were a little ridiculous in my opinion, The greens are all huge but the pins were all tucked really close to the fringe or major undulation...this doesn't help the pace of play especially when the greens are lighting fast with mini golf slopes.. I think this will be an excellent course when it grows up. Also, Do not walk this course unless you're one of those endurance athletes.

Imaginative layout and stunning views. Greens are fast but surprisingly receptive. Just a really enjoyable round.

Great signature/finishing hole. My favorite course in AZ, but way too cliquey for me. Everybody knows each other and the staff on the course, so outsiders are meant to feel like outsiders.

We played on a day after a little rain the night before, and the course was cart path only. We felt that was unnecessary because we encountered almost zero water logged areas. It lengthened the playing time and slowed the pace considerably since you had to walk out to your ball and back every shot and often the cart path was the opposite side of the fairway where you wanted to be. That said, this is a beautiful course and fun to play. The greens were super fast but in great condition.
