Verrado Golf Club - Victory Course

this is fabulous course and for the price an absolute steal. great layout, friendly staff. HOWEVER, we had a early afternoon tee time and moving reasonably well through 9 and then hit a wall of 2.somes on 11. after 2.5 hours and only on hole 14 in 115 degree weather that was enough, as my wife was feeling faint. would have been at least another hour to finish. while 3.5 hours is ok in November not in July in the afternoon. as we rode off passing the 2 somes on each hole including just 2, 2 man groups on the par 5, there should be some employee riding to keep groups moving. hopefully will try to play all 18 again later this summer.

Yes, lots of new home sites being prepared, yes part of the golf cart paths are unfinished and a little bumpy. They could have waited until that stuff was completed but, I'm sure glad they didn't. This is a great layout with some really unique features that make you plan your attack. If you don't do that the first time you play it, I guarantee you will the next time. This has become one of my favorite tracks, and I have to drive an hour to play it.

Played the Victory Course for the first time. Amazing facilities, great price, and the course was in fantastic shape. Challenging course, but fun for all levels! Can’t wait to play it again!

Four of us playing today with handicaps ranging from 15 to 28. The greens and bunkers were in excellent condition. There is a lot of construction on the front 9, but it only impacts travel between holes. The difficulty created by dips and swales in the fairways was increased by some very wet, muddy conditions. We did have a 7AM start, so that may have played a part in this. One of us had played the course before and that was a big help, as many of the holes are blind/ impossible to read from the tee box/ second shots. We did print out the hole descriptions and that helped. Overall, typical scores for us today - really enjoyed it and am looking forward to playing here again.

A round of golf should be fun & challenging.!

Every pin placement except the 16th and the very picturesque 18th was ridiculous, agreed by most golfers we spoke with during and after the round.

Will NEVER go back to this establishment again. They were out of bounds when asking us to skip two holes to get back on pace. Been golfing many years of my 58 years on this earth. Not one time have I ever been asked to do this. Never mind that there was literally nobody in front of us and absolutely NO ONE behind us. Poor management with terrible attitudes. Way too many choices out there NOT named Verrado/Victory. RUN!

Staff were very friendly. Starter warned of slow groups they had talked to. Never saw a ranger on the course after that. Waited with the group in front of us on every tee. Had 5 groups on 18, with three on the tee. 5hrs plus round. Course has a nice layout. Some brown/dry areas, even in the fairway, but overall good conditions. Said they had players that were not golfers and just having fun but never made an effort to keep them on any pace.

Unfortunately. This course is terrible. Play founders. Not victory. Gravel cart paths. They are under massive re construction. Save your money.

Had a great time. Course was running a little slow today. Seems like everybody from west valley was there today. I was surprised at how many people were on the course at this time of year. Greens varied in speed from one to the next. That made it a bit more difficult. Yes, the cart paths in some areas are torn up and you have to drive over gravel. It's not that big of a deal. The condition of the course is much more important to me that the cart paths.

All the construction going on was bothering. Cart paths would make better 4x4 trails. Quite a few bare spots, and dead or dry spots. I like this course but not sure I will play again until all work is done.

The only reason I’m not rating this course 5-star is due to the construction activity around the course and the resulting temporary golf cart paths.

The course itself is very well maintained from tees to fairways, bunkers and greens. Very nice track.

Very very windy day but low temperature so comfortable. The greens are very large and in beautiful condition. Took over 4 1/2 hrs.to play. The Sl op e rating seems too low, it is a harder corse than what the rating would suggest. Photo is hole18. Would play it again.
