Verrado Golf Club - Victory Course

The front 9 is an active construction zone. Dust. Noise. Wasps.

The back 9 is fantastic as it's always been.

For 9 holes it's overpriced. Go elsewhere until they're done or price it appropriately.

A friend of mine had a hole in one and there was no recognition by the clubhouse. Very disappointing.

Try to get out to play the courses at Verrado a couple of times each winter we are in AZ. Victory is a fun course that is playable for golfer of all skill levels. The forward tees are set up to minimize forced carries. My wife always enjoys the course because of this. Course condition was good. Greens are quite firm, but will hold a shot. Some of the cups on the greens were somewhat ragged. Lots of construction for homes going on, so several cart paths are gravel and rough. This is not a course for walkers.

Much more challenging than most retirement community courses. Course in great shape. The only problem is all the construction because of building homes therefore 3/4 of the course no cart path just rocks and gravel and this course covers allot of ground. Not a walking course.

Course is nice, challenging, and with great scenery. However they charged us $15 more than the rate I booked at GolfNow and then said that their rate was right and didn’t want to change it.

The course is great...one of my favorites. It has slipped some with the entire front nine now in the middle of a constructions zone. Many cart paths are now gravel...and rough!

Still love it...but just not quite as much.

Lots of challenging and interesting holes. Like the way we are spaced out!

Great track with a tough layout and undulating greens. Plenty of tee boxes for players of all levels. Amazing views. Will definitely be back.

Course is great but the construction and temporary cart paths are on eyesore

This was the first time I've played Verrado. We played the Victory Course. Other than some parts of the cart path being torn up a little due to construction projects going on around this community, this course was just an absolute pleasure to play. The setting is amazing with the White Mountains overlooking the course. The course and especially the greens were in great shape. The holes were diverse and there is a lot of texture to the course. There is no doubt what so ever that I will return to Verrado a number of times.

The course was in great shape. The greens were the slowest I have played in 5 days of golf. The locals were a bit unpleasant to out-of-town folks. Older golfers that most likely did not want others playing "their" course. We ignored them.

A LOT of construction on the front 9–entrances to the greens are not well marked.

Would probably not play again soon until the construction is done on the front 9–doesn’t really affect the play but definitely affects the views!
