Verrado Golf Club - Victory Course

This course is in a newer development in the west valley and is only a few years old. It features several scenic holes and a magnificent finishing signature hole that includes a 220 -yard carry over a lake from an elevated tee. I thoroughly enjoyed playing this course, which has a wonderful desert layout -- with one exception -- the course had just re-opened after over-seeding and was cart-path only. This course was not meant to be played cart-path only. I walked more, being restricted to the cart path, than I think I have ever before with a cart. The pace of play was impacted by this, but not as and as I thought it would be. I think our round lasted about 4 hours and 10 minutes on a Friday morning. Overall, the cause was in great shape. The greens were a tad on the furry side and a bit slower than your typical desert course greens, but they were fair and true. I totally recommend this course. It is a fun track and I will be back to play it again -- just not when it is cart path only.

This was the first time I played this course and was overall very impressed with it. I managed to shoot a few pars and finished the round with a birdie. I have to mention the 18th hole because it’s the most spectacular hole of all the course. It has an elevated tee box with a very wide fairway. It was an amazing site. The course has many interesting holes that have blind drives, dog legs, and some fairly easy sand traps. While I did end up losing a few balls to the AZ desert, the course does have extremely forgiving roughs on the fairway edges. It was a delight to play and I’ll be returning, especially to reclaim my eagle opportunity on the 18th!

P.S. The staff is incredible. The landscape is gorgeous. The golf carts are comfortable. The course is very well maintained.

Magnificent views all around the course. The greens were wonderful and the overall condition was very good especially considering they recently did their fall over seeding. However I do not recommend playing this course when they are " cart path only". The walking distance is too great and slows the pace of play.

Visited the Victory community in Buckeye to experience the 55+ community. The course was in exceptional condition despite the summertime heat. Regardless of what tees you play from, the course presents many challenging holes where precise shots will be rewarded. While refreshments are available at the clubhouse, the restaurant at the Vic is a great place to enjoy the 19th hole. Looking forward to my next visit to the community and playing the Founders course.

Played here a day after Founders course. They had done the overseeding here a few weeks ago, and the course is in great shape, very green and lush. Greens were a bit slow, but rolled good and were in good shape. The layout is beautiful with the rocks and desert landscape. Great views of city and the other side was the foothills. Clubhouse on top of giant granite rock, and on the last hole tou drive by vineyards

The course was very friendly and was in great shape for September. Pace of play was a little slow but not bad. We would definitely recommend it to everyone.

Course in great shape. I liked the layout and awesome view on most holes. Good value.

Fun course with challenging layout. Forgivingly wide fairways but bring extra balls if ya don’t hit ‘em. Great value all things considered.

Always love playing out at Verrado. Best courses in the west valley. Greens rolled true and course was in great shape for late summer.

My partner and I have been playing many ofthe courses around the valley this summer. Verrado has some of the best conditions we have found. Greens, fairways tee boxes were in great shape. The greens held a shot well. The bunker sand was really good. Greens were tough to put. We thought we saw breaks that weren,t there.

For the summer, the course was in awesome shape!!!

a very nice course with a great layout. Desert scenery, including a small rattlesnake in the desert.(we gave it his space thank you)

Grass was good tees to greens. Sand was a little hard in places. Pace of play was good as we didn't have to wait on players ahead of us or have players behind hitting up on us. It is a bit of a drive if you are not in the west valley but worth it.

The course is in outstanding condition. However, I started off 45 minutes behind the group in front of me. I caught them on the 3rd hole and followed behind the rest of the day. These groups took over 20 minutes to play two holes! Two of the groups in front of me quit around the 9th to 11th hole because of the wait time. No ranger on the course at all. This can be a more difficult course. If you can't keep your ball in play, then MOVE up on the tees. You're killing the day for everybody behind you. Normally, I would give this course 5 stars, but without a ranger to keep golfers moving I had to remove one star.
