Verrado Golf Club - Victory Course

This course has some maturing to do, but plays well. It is spread out around mountains and a quarry with lots of white rocks. You have to stay accurate to keep it in play. It could use some shade trees, though!

One of the most scenic and challenging courses in Phoenix area. Carved out of a white rock quarry looking over greater Phoenix.

Greens were kinda slow but it's summer and it's 100+ degrees and theres NO one there. I took my time and played in 3ish hours.

It is 45 minute drive from greater Phoenix but well worth it!

Pace of play, a little slow (5 hours). Beautiful finishing hole, over water. Course in good condition.

Fun course, visually deceiving off the tee for the first time playing it. Greens were a little slow due to top dressing the week before. It is worth a trip west only $19 after 1pm all Summer long!

This third time playing this course was just as enjoyable as the first two times. The layout, the fairways, the greens were challenging. The staff was very helpful, pleasant and very sociable. It was a very rewarding experience.

this course is fun and well designed. Short holes did not mean easy holes.

Greens still healing and cut way too slow as to be un-puttable. Will wait a while before coming back.

Verrado Victory course was a nice course. It was severly dried out. Greens were shaggy and slow. The layout was a bit gimmicky. Most of the back nine are blind tee shots. If youre looking to challenge your course management and driving skills this is the course for you. If you hit it down the middle or to the correct side of the fairway it is extremely playable almost easy. The pace of play was extremely slow. If you miss the fairway you are looking into the boulders that surround every hole. 5 plus hour round on a very light Monday mid-day.

The snackbar/grill was awesome. They had a lunch included rate which was a full lunch and beverage of your choice. Yes this includes beer. For the $$ it was a good round. We will be back. Definitly worth investing in the yardage book in the proshop.

IYou hit an excellent drive on hole #1. You are excited, new course, very nicely maintained, then you find your ball in a sand trap, not because you hit it poorly, but because there was NO INFORMATION on the blind Tee shot! No info on the scorecard, the sign marking the hole, or anywhere else!

Risk/reward courses are great....but not when you don’t know the hazards are there!

Also, fairways had uphill, downhill, and side hill lies in the middle of the fairway.

All that needed to happen was to have a scorecard with some maps & yardage to hazards on them & this course would have been an excellent experience!

On Many holes, I had no idea if it was a dogleg, right, left, or straight! Too bad but very easy fix.

Staff was VERY HELPFUL before and after the round!

This course is great. Awesome layout, lots of visually intimidating holes. Nice soft white sand in the bunkers. The only letdown, and it's a big one, are the greens. I read that they were punched about a month ago but they are still in fairly terrible shape. Very slow, with lots of burnt bare spots. Hopefully it gets better as the course matures.

Everything was excellent. Greens were slow, but definitely one of the best courses in the west valley

Attention all AZ golfers. Get in your car and drive west to Buckeye. This is a MUST play. One of the very best around in a city with so many awesome courses like Troon North, Grayhawk, Quintero, Southern Dunes, Sunridge Canyon, etc. Victory course at Verrado is just as good. Get there. Soon.

Course was a fair and nice layout.

Greens were very slow, however it may have because of the heat.
