Verrado Golf Club - Victory Course

For the price this was an excellent deal. Practice facilities were very good. The greens according to the two others inplayed with were slow, which suited me fine. I’d recommend this course to anyone and everyone.

Greens rolled nice. Beverage cart came by 4 times during our 4 hr round. Spacious fairways. Hole 18 Par 5 is one of my favorites in the valley. Will be back in October when the weather cools down.

Good round overall.Pace of play a little slow at times. Greens in great shape for time of year. Will definitely be back!

This course is in great shape from tee to green. Truly amazed of the condition considering the temperatures we've had. Will definitely play here again soon. Greens putt a little slower than most but are in incredible shape.

This course is in Awesome shape. The greens were lush. Yes, a tad slower, but I'd rather have them lush and a bit slower than the burnt-out wrecks everywhere else has. Just give it a slightly firmer putt is all. They mostly held their lines with no problems. Fairways and tee boxes were in great shape. There are reasonable landing areas off the tee. There are sand traps in strategic spots to avoid. (the sand traps have actual sand in them not hard pan bunkers like everywhere else!) I played from the silver tees and had a great time. This course is more about shot placement than about distance. If you cannot place your shot I'd suggest moving up to a friendlier tee box. The wind may be a factor on some holes. You might want to keep that in mind as a poor tee shot may not land where you want it. The 18th hole is so much fun. The tee box is above a large pond. You have to hit over the pond to get to the fairway. 215 yards carry from the silver tees. (Pick the right tees for you. You’ll enjoy the course more.)

The staff was great. Very friendly. The "handsome guys outside" (their words, not mine) who cleaned my clubs and take care of the carts joked with me after my round. Friendly and fun guys. The carts ran great. Smooth, very comfortable. They have a ball washer and club cleaner on the cart. There is a small cooler with ice which was a God send in this heat. Sonny at the bar after the round was friendly and a happy guy. This is just a great place. I saw that more houses are being built in the community. I have a strong suspicion that this course will not be public much longer. Play it now while you can.

Can’t wait to go back and play again. Course was in excellent condition.

Rocks everywhere.....not a tree on the course. In fact the day we played a lady hit a rock with her golf car and it flipped over on top of her. Medics were called and took her away. If you're in verrado anyway, play the Founders course....it's awesome. Don't bother with this one.

I found this course on Golf Now for $16 per player plus booking fees when my local course was closed for aeration. It was a little hard to find because all of the construction going on in the area. But once we started to play I was pleasantly surprised at both the condition and the layout. A tough but fair test of golf and everything from tee to green was in great shape. Be advised the afternoon wind can be pretty wicked but we even enjoyed that challenge. One little thing that bothered me is that we played in 110 degree heat and, while there are water jugs every 3 holes, they provide no cups alongside them. Other than that, this is a spectacular value for the money. I will play it again and again.

Played Victory @ Verrado for the first time. It was not there when I previously lived in the area. I LOVE the original Verrado course, so i was interested in this one.

Did not disappoint overall. Great course and great lay-out. Would recommend.

Only negative i would share would be about the greens. They are slower than typical courses and on this course, they were a bit inconsistent. Though they were slower than what i normally play, i really enjoyed the course and will play again when I’m in the area.

This course is definitely worth your time. The layout is challenging, yet fair, and is in a very cool setting. Due to the newness of the course, the greens were rolling slow, but aside from that, I'd certainly play this course again.

I played this course about a month ago and the greens were not in good shape, very shaggy, lots of burned spots. They were in much better condition this time around, actually playable. They're still a little long and slow but that's to be expected for this time of year.

This course is great, very scenic and challenging. There's a par 5 on the front which is long and always into the wind, takes 3 great shots to have a chance for bird.

This course could really benefit from GPS on the carts. It's a little strange that this is positioned, at least price wise to be the better of the two Verrado courses, yet the founders has GPS. There's a lot of blind shots, forced carries and fairway bunkers that would be nice to know what it is to carry/reach, etc. Will absolutely be back.

Exciting new golf course and surrounding community nestled up against the mountain range. This chiselled from the mountain shoulder golf course with all the fragments remaining, really gives this place its own strong personality. The elevation creates wonderful vistas of the majority of the west valley from the majority of its 18 holes. The 18th hole is magnificient with several back tees perched high above a large pond and left side fairway. Hit big off these tees to reach your goal. Only knock on VICTORY is the golf carts dont have GPS...yet.
