Verrado Golf Club - Victory Course

We live in Sun City and don’t go offsite very very often. We’ve been playing the founders course a couple of times each summer for many years. This year they had nine holes closed and we didn’t wanna play the same nine holes twice so we decided to try the victory course when we played it on 28 August. It was the third time and three weeks we played it, that’s how nice this course really is. The only problem I have is, most of these holes you can’t park anywhere near the green that’s a lot of extra walking. But I’ll deal with it, the course is that nice.

Must play .....Staff is always friendly and course is always in excellent shape. Very scenic and well worth the money during summer months

The course is in great shape for summer. The majority of the fairways are nice and green. There are a few burnt spots here and there, but nothing that impedes play. A few areas are wet which shows that they are actively trying to maintain the grass. Greens putt well, but slow. Speaking of slow the carts are painfully slow. They move at a brisk walk. Seems too many idiots tipped their carts over going too fast so now everybody has slow carts because of a few morons. Other than that the course is a lot of fun.

Love everything about this course. Playing there again Aug 20.

Can’t say enough about my experience playing this course. Staff was unbelievably friendly from beginning to end. Course was absolutely beautiful. Tee boxes, fairways and first cuts were lush. Greens were a little fast, but it made it challenging and fun. Highly recommended course and will definitely be back. Thank you Verrado for having me and the group.

Finally got to play the Victory course and the layout and conditions were great. It's a very unique course considering our mostly flat valley with much of the front nine playing up/down/through raw desert and boulders. It will look different years from now when they finally finish building but it's great now. Course was in very good shape for July plus the greens were like velcro so every shot just stopped. Our pace of play teeing off at 9:15 on a Saturday got very slow. I would attribute this to the low rates for such a nice course as more hackers will give it a try. The course has mostly huge fairways and huge greens so it's not that terribly hard if you play from the right set of tees. Can't wait to go back (just earlier next time)

Victory at Verrado is an excellent course that rivals or exceeds the quality of most Troon properties for a fraction of the price. All things considered, the course was in excellent shape for the summer. The layout was interesting yet forgiving for those who struggle to keep the ball in play. Pace of play was good, as we finished our round in under four hours. Staff were friendly and attentive. The practice facility and off-course amenities were much appreciated.
