Get rangers
Literally reviewing this on the 14th tee box instead of already being done and driving home. 4 groups stacked on 10.... and that was after the foursome in front of us quit on 7 (they had enough).

Great course
Greg Course had a blast shot a better score than usual due to course conditions I think larger greens very playable. A lot of open fairways but you can’t get in the trouble some challenging places as well. Greens were a little slow but I think it’s just the time of the year I went. Very scenic great views. He will enjoy it.

Great Course
The course was in great shape. They punched the commander course a week and half ago but still was in great condition

Great facility!!
Used my final free round from golf now since they switched from that, but well worth it. Played with my brother. Staff was very accommodating considering we book opposite courses on accident. They let us play no problem and pick our course. We chose the piper which is the newest course. The layout was beautiful with holes that everyone can play from as they have 7 tee locations ranging from like 4500 Lady closer-7300 yds tour tees.
Greens were fast and true, undulated and a real joy and challenge to read and play!
Fairways and tee boxes were almost perfect. Wish people would sand their par 3 tee box divots but I’m nitpicking. Every shot was a strategic fun challenge. We played blacks which was the third tee in and was still 6500 yds.
GPS carts. Coolers on side of cart come prepacked with ice.
Practice range was great with free range balls.
Huge undulated practice green and chipping green with bunker practice.
One of the best of the fifty courses I have played in last year+.
If I had any gripes it was the amount of mowers out there that were in our shot line on first couple holes. That and the bev cart prices were a bit steep. Will be a gorgeous track line once homes are built as there are maybe 5-10% of course lined with houses.

Great value
The course is and has always been in great shape, you think of something negative and I'll have to say not at this course.

Frustration
I'm giving this course a rather bad review. Not so much for the course, though. It was in decent shape and was really ok. However, myself and my playing partners ran into a consistent problem with our golf carts. Right from the very beginning we had problems. When we headed to the first tee our carts stopped and said we could go no further because we were in a restricted area, even though we were heading in the right direction. We had to go back to the clubhouse and they supposedly reprogrammed the computers so this wouldn't happen again. Except it did another 2 0r 3 times while on the course. This was a big distraction and irritation. I'll not bother to play there again.
We're very sorry to hear about that frustrating experience. We always strive to provide our golfers with a seamless experience at Lakewood National. We will pass this long to management staff to address with our cart maintenance team. We hope you'll return again in the future for another round.
Great golf outing
Three of us had a great time playing this course. Very nice condition. There were friendly holes and not so friendly holes, but still played like a fun course.

Great Track
This is a course you should try to play if you are in the Bradenton area vacationing at the beach and need a nice public course option. The price for the quality of course is very good. It's obviously hot in Florida, but if you can bear the heat and the greens haven't been punched recently, you'll enjoy this place.

Best course in area
Immaculate conditions, really fun layout and can play it everyday of the week and have it seem like a new course, starter on #1 of commander deserves a raise for handling a upset player that showed up for his tee time late and then proceeded to get made at the starter for not letting him out instantly. He handled the situation perfectly
