Alfred Tup Holmes Golf Club

I hope the city of Atlanta puts money into this course. It’s getting pretty run down. There’s no grass in the fairway or tee boxes. The cart part are buckled and dangerous where you step.

We frequently play 18 at Alfred Tup Holmes. The staff is awesome: always friendly and on top of everything. The cart paths are badly in need of repair. That's the only reason to not give the course a 5-star rating.

Cart almost flipped come down hill during rain due to faulty breaks. I was thrown to pavement trying to keep the cart from flipping. I did not report the accident but, endorsed a lot of pain. When arriving at the next hole breaks again didn't stop completely with zero hills.

Driving from hole to hole in places was terrible and need to be redone

Course is in great shape, greens are perfect. Staff was great as well. This place has come a long way.

Course was in bad shape even for the winter. Bad overall rating because my group and the golfers around us were told to bring the carts in almost 30 minutes before 5 which is when the course rules say they have to be in. We were not even allowed to finish hole 16 which half the group had teed off on already. Hopeful that conditions will improve in the summer but who knows. Would not recommend.

Marshall’s kicked everyone off the course at 4:30pm. The course is a litter box. No grass on any tee boxes. Would not recommend.

We've played this course quite a few times. The staff couldn't be nicer!! The holes are a mixture of easy to challenging. Holes 9 and 17 are quite challenging. Always a fun 18 holes.

I've played and continue to play TUP because of its historical meaning to the neighborhood and to minority golfers as a whole. However, the course was in the worst condition I've seen in years. Possibly due to the recent rain and brutal cold days but in bad shape nonetheless. There needs to be a very intentional parking solution as well as ingress and egress solutions. Many of the bunkers are nothing more than rock beds and several tee boxes might as well be bad patches of grass in the backyard of an abandoned home.

For winter time the greens is not beat up, but smooth.

The staff here is very rude and eager to get off. Was told carts in by 5. And older lady rode around @4:15 saying carts needed to be in. Then when I got to the club house they said oh yeah you can walk the rest but we’re ready to close. What kind of ghetto golf course are you guys running. On top of the tee boxes being completely trash. Greens being covered in broken tree branches I definitely won’t be returning.

All the holes are so much fun to play. The course is just in some rough shape. Other than that, it was a great morning of golf!
