About
El Prado Golf Course boasts two different 18-hole courses: Butterfield Stage and Chino Creek. Early in California's statehood, stagecoaches would make the 2,700 mile trek from St. Louis to San Francisco. The property used to be a stop on this trail, which is where the Butterfield Stage Course gets its name. It's the shorter of the two courses at 6,568 yards from the back tees. The course is flatter and more forgiving than Chino Creek, but it still has a fair amount of challenges that will test your skills. The layout has generous fairways, but watch out for the strategically placed bunkers lurking along the large, gently undulating greens. Water hazards come into play on several holes as well. The wide open nature of the course can be forgiving but at the same time it will put your round at the mercy of the prevailing winds.

Fun and Challenging
Had a great time playing here. For the value it’s an awesome place to play and the tee boxes, fairways and greens are in great condition.

We did not go and we were unable to get a refund. 😟
Washes and water features are a great obstacle to play around. Grass conditions had some issues. Overall not a bad experience
Not a great experience.
The course is in bad shape. There is an ungodly smell because the entire area used to be dairy farms. And we got stuck behind a sixome that slowed everything down. A marshall saw them but didn't say anything.

Not a good time
They are punching the course, one closed yesterday. Range closed, has been for weeks. Course is soft, no run. Go back when it recovers
