El Prado Golf Courses - Chino Creek
About
El Prado Golf Course in Chino offers two 18-hole courses, Chino creek and Butterfield Stage. Chino Creek is the longer of the two at 6,858 yards from the back tees. It is also considered more challenging but both are player friendly enough to appeal to all skill levels. As its name would imply, the Chino Creek runs along the entire length of the golf course. You find water in several different forms throughout the course including lakes and meandering streams. The layout is spread across rolling terrain with elevation changes that range from subtle to dramatic. Several of the holes begin from elevated tees and it's likely you'll face more than one uphill battle. Trees and bunkers also come into play but the fairways are wide and forgiving. It's not an overly difficult golf course but beginners can also try the shorter and less challenging Butterfield Stage Course.

Creekside is solid
I played butterfield before and that course is really rough. Creekside is really nice , solid fairways and good greens. I would give Creekside a solid 4/5 stars and butterfield 2.5/5 at best.
Forced to Wait
Golf Now tee times you have to wait to play. I had to wait almost an hour until my official tee time. Meanwhile no one ,during that hour wait teed off as I stood there waiting to play. This wait time only applies to Golf Now players!

Good value for money challenging course
Good value for mo ey and challenging but the butterfield course smells like a sewer

Great Greens!!
I have played this course many times and the greens are always in GREAT condition. This time around they were even better. Nothing feels better then to hit the green on your approach shot or tee shot and stick it versus having a green hard or beat up and have your shot roll off and put you in a bad situation. I highly recommend to give this course a try (Chino Creek Side) as you will not be disappointed.

Great course. Awesome to walk. Low rating because there are so many bugs that the back 9 is not very fun.

Course in great condition
I have not played this course in 2 years. I was pleasantly happy with how well the course has been maintained. This course will challenge you as several holes require precise shots. Will play this course again before the summer ends.

Greens are in good shape
Sub 3.5 hr round on a Sunday morning. Good quick play, greens were in great condition. Fun muni course and a good value.
