About
El Prado Golf Course in Chino offers two 18-hole courses, Chino creek and Butterfield Stage. Chino Creek is the longer of the two at 6,858 yards from the back tees. It is also considered more challenging but both are player friendly enough to appeal to all skill levels. As its name would imply, the Chino Creek runs along the entire length of the golf course. You find water in several different forms throughout the course including lakes and meandering streams. The layout is spread across rolling terrain with elevation changes that range from subtle to dramatic. Several of the holes begin from elevated tees and it's likely you'll face more than one uphill battle. Trees and bunkers also come into play but the fairways are wide and forgiving. It's not an overly difficult golf course but beginners can also try the shorter and less challenging Butterfield Stage Course.

Charged twice for reswervation, due to internet error
On July 7th, I booked a reservation and due to internet connectivity it reserved twice and charged me twice. I cancelled one asap but was still charged. Can I get this refunded?
Great course...
We had a great experience. I had only book a 3 men, but we need to add 1 more and the staff was awesome and accommodating. They just push are tee time back 30 min which work out since my buddy was running late. If I could give the staff 10 star I would of.
fairways are o.k.
THE ROUGH WAS A LITTLE BIT LONG & WAS HARD TO GET OUT OF.

I love this place, usually easy to get on and is in great shape. Great accommodating staff too!
Good Value at Course That Does Social Distancing Well
El Prado Chino has a nice layout, has greens and fairways that have been improving over the past year and often times get strong afternoon breezes that keep the course cooler than the more eastern portions of the IE. Green fees are very reasonable and the El Prado folks do a very good job of keeping social distancing practices among the players in the clubhouse area. Yes, the rough and some of the tees are inconsistent on this course but the fairways are quite decent and the greens have been nice as well (I've played El Prado Chino every week in June and the stated conditions have been consistent over that time).

Early Morning Tee Time - Awesome
The staff was really friendly the starter was very knowledgeable we got out on time actually early and we were able to get a full 18 holes in 3 1/2 hours
For balls in the fairway and greens they were awesome very well maintained and kept the rough was really rough
Lost two balls in the rough because it was so thick we could not find them

Hot and Windy Day!
We played here on a twilight time at 3:20 pm. The course was busy. They paired us with some really slow players. I still played well. The greens were in PRIMO condition. The cart dies on the 13th hole.
I called the starter that it died and they sent out the cart guys right away. SHOUT OUT to the CART GUYS! They are the BEST! We finished the rest of the round without a hitch. I played 1 over on the back nine. Great day!
