El Prado Golf Courses - Chino Creek

About
El Prado Golf Course in Chino offers two 18-hole courses, Chino creek and Butterfield Stage. Chino Creek is the longer of the two at 6,858 yards from the back tees. It is also considered more challenging but both are player friendly enough to appeal to all skill levels. As its name would imply, the Chino Creek runs along the entire length of the golf course. You find water in several different forms throughout the course including lakes and meandering streams. The layout is spread across rolling terrain with elevation changes that range from subtle to dramatic. Several of the holes begin from elevated tees and it's likely you'll face more than one uphill battle. Trees and bunkers also come into play but the fairways are wide and forgiving. It's not an overly difficult golf course but beginners can also try the shorter and less challenging Butterfield Stage Course.

Chino creek course is always a nice course.
Always a nice course with beautiful trees and scenery. For the price, it’s a nice deal! It’s always a delight at this course.
Nice bang for your buck
A little muddy due to early AM moisture but a overall a very fun course. Not too difficult for a beginner like myself.
Nice pace of play and pretty decent fairway
Had fun yesterday and finished 18 in 5 hours. Considering it was sunday, no complaint from me.
Double charge for my golf cart??
What a joke. I paid $40 with golf cart for Chino Creek, solo. In the bylaws of GolfNow, no where does it state " shared golf cart" so I check in and the kid tells me that I will be riding with another solo, and I told him that I already paid for my solo golf cart. He said that if I want to ride solo, it's another $15 bucks. Eff that, so basically yall charging me twice? I only played 9 holes, because the guy that they paired me with did not speak English and was clueless. It was so uncomfortable that I left after 9 holes. Slow play on every hole to boot. Crappy greens, crappy tee boxes, crappy fairways, and just plain crap this golf course is. Never again.

I really commend El Prado for putting some dough back into the course. From new carts to a cool little range fence. You can see the small improvements around the course and you play along. My Brohams and I will continue to go back. Also, it's still a pretty good value for the money., especially compared to other local courses.
