Green River Golf Club
About
The beauty of the Santa Ana Canyons surrounds Green River Golf Club in Corona. The club originally had two 18-hole courses but they have been combined to form one massive, sprawling golf course. Although it is surrounded by hills and valleys, the course itself is mostly flat, making it a good round for high handicappers. The fairways are wide and forgiving, making it even more player friendly for beginners. There are still many challenges in store on this golf course though, including a number of river and creek crossings and strategically placed bunkers. The Santa Ana winds that sweep across the course can often make reaching the greens in regulation quite tough and the abundant trees, while providing a scenic and secluded atmosphere, also add to Green River Golf Club's difficulty.

Sunday Afternoon round with the wifey
The course is ok, no thrills economy course. Although newer golf carts !!!
The staff was very nice and the greens were in great shape but who cares when your round takes over 6 hours. no Marshal to speed up play, there was also a 5some out there, there was no actual green on the first hole to putt on, the on course bathroom was a complete mess and had no toilet paper or anything to use, there’s no other bathroom or place to buy drinks other than service in the main bar which you don’t pass until 13 tee, we couldn’t check in on time because the pro shop computer was down. also the carts are pretty messed up which normally isn’t an issue but when the ground is as uneven as it is here, you feel like you are off-roading all day. the drinks you do have will be everywhere.
What happened to this course
The green river used to be an excellent wide open course with a great design and playable greens. Now it’s basically a park. The grass is trash. The cart paths are a joke it’s nearly unplayable what was once a great course is now a joke filled with slow rounds and bad conditions.
Not Worth $58
Horrible greens, no signs as to where some of the tee boxes are. food/drink cart had no food throughout the day. Just not worth the money spent.
Hmmm....
Neighborhood golf course off the 91 freeway that is extremely dry and barren on the fairways. The tee boxes are not in the best conditions either. Only good part of the course is the conditions of the greens which were really nice.
Course layout is average. Overall, it’s a course that wasn’t too bad but wouldnt play again unless it was under $40
Not Worth the Money
Definitely not worth the money. There wasn't even a green on the first hole...it was literally a spray painted circle with a flag and hole in the middle...right on the grass...
Course is in bad shape.
Extremely poor condition
Not a bad layout, but WOW! This place is in miserable shape. Honestly, I would not go back if green fees were $20. Greens were okay, but EVERYTHINg else was horrible.
Terrible track
Course not worth the $$.. Terrible conditions. Sand traps are harder than the cart paths.
Will not play again.
You have to like the wind
The wind blows hard here almost every day. 2+ club wind. The greens were punched and have not recovered. Cart paths are broken and bumpy. The course layout is ok, but when they sacrificed 18 holes, they showed golf is not really the important thing here.
