Green River Golf Club
About
The beauty of the Santa Ana Canyons surrounds Green River Golf Club in Corona. The club originally had two 18-hole courses but they have been combined to form one massive, sprawling golf course. Although it is surrounded by hills and valleys, the course itself is mostly flat, making it a good round for high handicappers. The fairways are wide and forgiving, making it even more player friendly for beginners. There are still many challenges in store on this golf course though, including a number of river and creek crossings and strategically placed bunkers. The Santa Ana winds that sweep across the course can often make reaching the greens in regulation quite tough and the abundant trees, while providing a scenic and secluded atmosphere, also add to Green River Golf Club's difficulty.

Great time.
Had a great time for my first time here. Great course for a few first timers. Staff was great, everything ran smooth and at a great pace. Definitely will be back.
1st Hole's green and some fairways are not up to par.
Priced right
Worth the price. Has significant potential. Needs work on fairways rough and cart paths
Great course for the money!
Hadn’t played here since it went from 36 to 18 holes.
I liked what they have done. What you see is what you get!
Very convenient to Orange County..
Had a nice cold Modelo and a great club sandwich in the bar after…Excellent service and food. My friend had the hot dog special and said it was great.
I would definitely recommend giving Green River a try.
Great Value
The staff is extremely friendly and professional. The only downside was that the bar and club house all close at 5PM so you can't get anything to drink (including non-alcoholic beverages). I never saw a drink cart, and the bathrooms on the course are a little rough.
The fairways are undergoing some repairs, but overall it was still a lot of fun. I'd recommend bringing some drinks of your own if you're playing later in the afternoon. If you can get it for the right price, it's a blast! Will definitely play again!
Dare to be great
This course had the POTENTIAL to be a rockstar only if they’d care more for the boxes, fairways, sandboxes, and greens! All the makings to be a top 10 so cal course ‘only if!’
Great layout; lots of trees, out of bounds, sand (hardback dirt); and some water…. Just get the greenery GREEN!
Bring a mouth guard
The course is a good layout but the Cart paths and edges of the fairways (where there should be a cart path) are so rough my teeth were about shook out from how bumpy it was. Sand traps were like concrete. I thought the traps in AZ were bad but at least there is some sand in AZ’s. $58.00 was an absolute rip-off. I’ve played here a lot when we lived in So-Cal. Very sad to see how run down it is.
Hope #1 almost ready
They have been working on the #1 green for many weeks. In the meantime, a temporary green is used, which doesn’t have a putting surface. Hope the regulars comes back soon.
Progress
This course is on its way on an uphill trend its been 6 months since ive played this course, And ive seen very much progress especially with condition of the greens only the first hole for some reason wasnt on the actual green due to maintenance and the one other hole on 12 the green needs to be fixed but the rest of the course was mint
