Chastain Park Golf Course

I would be ASHAMED to call Chastain Park just a golf course. Chastain is a community of not just great GOLFERS, but great MEN. Lesser gentlemen may make remarks about the course conditions, the nonchalant inefficiency of the starters, the golf cart seats that have chunks of exposed yellow styrofoam, the sound of golf balls hitting Atlanta oaks in your backswing, or swimming pools in the fairways. A TRUE Chastain golf member finds FRATERNITY in the sounds of Chastain, the CHALLENGE of a grassless tee box, the FORTITUDE to play 18 holes with no water coolers on a HOT JU-LY afternoon. The Chastain park FRATERNITY is the heartbeat of Atlanta, do not let the RADICALS on this site steer you otherwise.

tee ime was 1:57, played from 2:10. before play game, they never mention about cart return time. after 9 hole, the staff said have to return cart until 5 pm. only played 11 hole because of traffic and finished 5:10. it is wrong. sunset time was 5:58 PM. it is plenty time of play. it looks like they want go home early.

Frost delay but Starters did tremendous job getting groups out. Made it a little tight but although cold it was more like cool. We enjoy the facility, Carts could use re-investment.

Enjoyable round.

The people kicked us off the course early due to rain. The told us to get a rain check but no one was in the office

Nice challenging course. Couple blind shots and strategy comes in play. Will play again

Play was slow due to an inconsiderate group in front of us who took too long to look for lost balls.....every hole....and took too long on the green for such poor players. Unfortunate for us and those behind us.

Fairways were in decent shape, most of the greens were fine. Place of play was painfully slow due to walkers with no marshal regulating the pace,

The course was in good shape. There were a lot of golfers walking the course which slowed the pace of play significantly. There was no course Marshall regulating pace of play.

Need to visit brown s mill and copy there renovation. La.

This course has a great potential to be among the best in the area if some basic maintenance around the tee boces and bunkers was provided
