Chateau Elan Golf Club - Chateau Course

It was a beautiful day. Course was in good shape. Pace of play was good. Great way to self-distance during the coronavirus outbreak.

I have played Chateau Elan – Chateau course several times. This course is one of my favorite courses in the Atlanta area.

The course condition was very good for early spring and the staff is always friendly, helpful and accommodating. The staff always treats everyone like they truly want you to come back. That is always a plus versus many courses which act like you are lucky to be able to play the course and they are doing you a favor by helping you.

Chateau course is a great options for all skill levels. Chateau Elan has a great practice area (two different putting greens, very nice short game practice area, practice bunkers, driving range).

The greens are always in great condition. They roll true and have lots of subtle breaks and undulations which adds to the challenge. The greens are quick, but not treacherous and all tricked out.

For early spring, the course is in great shape. Due to the COVID-19 situation, there are no sand bottles on the carts, nor rakes in the bunkers and all the golf holes have foam swimming noodles, all as precautions to help keep everyone safe while still being able to enjoy a fun and challenging course.

I highly recommend Chateau Elan.

One of my favorite courses in the Atlanta area. The course condition was great and the staffs were very friendly. I highly recommend this course.

The staff was great the golf course is in good condition for winter time. Had a great time with my friends we are high handicappers. Good options for all skilled others. It would be nice to see the course when the grass greens up !!

The staff was very welcoming. Paired with a twosome that was a joy to play with. We all used golf pass for great saving and a good day. Thanks to golf pass and the staff at Chateau. Good day.

Over 5 hours to play 18 holes is just ridiculous, especially when its not cart path only.

We teed off behind a "party" of 8, two groups of 4 that were there to drink and goof off more so than to play golf. They drove their carts all over the place, on pars 3's near the green and through a bunker. The first group waited on the green or tee box of every hole for the group behind them. There were three groups on every tee box almost the entire day. Needless to say the first group of the "party" was over a hole behind the group in front of them ALL DAY.

NEVER saw a ranger once. I understand it was a beautiful day and a lot of people on the course but there is no reason for a non tournament round to ever take over 4 1/2 hours.

So I am new to the area and decided to play a round just to check out the layout and course conditions. With all the rain lately I thought the course was in good shape. Greens rolled true. Will be back soon and considering membership!

The course is in great shape, especially for this time of year. I haven’t played the Chateau course in a couple years and, was surprised by how much better the greens were. They’re definitely rolling and the pin placements were tough.

As always, we were treated better than we deserved to be treated. The staff is top notch and treat everyone like they want you to come back.

I have played Chateau Elan Chateau course several times and each time I play the course I always leave asking myself, "why don't II play here more frequently?"

The course layout is fantastic and fun and the conditions are always excellent and the staff and facilities are top-notch.

The greens are exceptional and some of the best greens anywhere in the area. They are always very quick, smooth and have many subtle breaks and undulations. The fairways were blown and cleared of leaves and debris with lots of fun elevation changes. You really can't ask for too much more or get too much better anywhere in the Atlanta area.

In my opinion, this is one of the very best public course in this area. Also, you can usually get a great deal on Golf Now which makes the value for the money a great deal.

The staff were great. The newly renovated clubhouse and restaurant are great. We stayed around after our round and had dinner in the restaurant and the food was excellent.

Overall, a great course at a wonderful price.

First time I have played in a couple of years and the course was clean, well set up and greens were best I have seen here.

Lovely course and really well managed. Easy to get a game even though it’s busy. Course was in very good condition.

Played at Chateau last week and the setup here is perfect.

The clubhouse has been refurbished and is fantastic. You then have all the practice facilities you need, good driving range, short game practice area and putting green.

The course itself was in great condition with the greens a joy to putt on, the ball was rolling smooth.

The course offers a variety of tees to play from which ensures all golfers at different levels can enjoy the game.

After the round no better way to sit and enjoy a cold one either in or outside the clubhouse.

Staff in the pro-shop were very helpful and did all they could to ensure we enjoyed our day at Chateau.

First time there in a few years. Course in good condition. Practice range was excellent. Enjoyed the round with my good friend.

The greens were exceptional.. cut.. rolled.. smooth.. excellent speed. The fairways were blown and cleared of debris.. with great elevation changes.. mixture of distances.. site lines.. carries.. you really can't get too much better. Played mid week and the weekend and conditions remained impressive.. Again, Please don't miss playing The Chateau now ;)
