Cherokee Run Golf Club

Best greens I've putted on this year. Sand bunkers uniformly good as well. My only complaint is that there are two tricked up doglegs, one on the front one on the back. Arnie must have run out of real estate.

Hilly, tough, fair, but beware the first time you play it it’s won’t be pretty. It would be a huge help to play with someone that can tell you where to hit it. Carts have GPS but that’s not what you need help with. Multiple blind shots. Arnie made a masterpiece. Greens are spectacular and treacherous. It’s a drive for almost everyone, but do it!

Course was in great shape , greens had some hard pin placements but made it a fun round with friends . Highly recommend!

Great course, fun but tough layout. Great greens on which you better stay below the hole. Will definitely be playing here again soon.

This course has been on my list since moving to Atlanta three years ago & it did not disappoint. Great challenge & value. I’ll be sure to come back.

Great layout and a hidden gem from Arnold Palmer designs. Don’t miss this place. You’ll use every club in the bag. Choose the right tees for your ability and you’ll have a blast. Pace of play was slow on Monday afternoon.

Greens where different speeds. Front was good and back was a lot slower. Still a great place to play golf.

Greens remain extremely fast. Nice fairways allow for putting from off the greens.

The fairways are like carpet. Greens are in top form. Golf carts are always clean with it's own GPS and electronic scoring. The staff - all of the staff from the manager to the grounds keeper are very friendly and make you feel good about the sport. Awesome place.

I drove an hour here because of how great the reviews were. It was 100% worth it. greens rolled very fast, course was in pristine condition. Best track I've played all year

This course was incredible. Definitely challenging if you are a beginner/ intermediate golfer, but it’s the happiest I’ve been losing 5 balls in a round. The starter was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and even gave me some history of the course. Will definitely be going back.

Great lay out, just be prepared for some lightning fast greens, but roll true.

The course is great the fairways and the greens.

Even though it’s kind of far from Marietta, try to come and play again.

Gotta love a nice warm summer day, everything is green flowers are blooming... maintenance crews are all back to work. Throw in a week with no rain and hot sunny afternoons and we have greens running 13-14 on a stimp and approach shots bouncing right on through like you hit a cart path! Putting from the fringe is THE shot of the day. The flip side of that is that drives are finally running out after impact and we get to play shorter irons in. The course is in great shape and starting to get a bit more crowded. They are doing a better job than most with tee time spacing and having a starter keeping things in check. (No 6somes followed by 3 different singles all hitting into each other all day like some other course was earlier this week)

I play the run 1-3 times a week and it never disappoints. Greens are always excellent, great layout, and great overall condition. The only category I would give 4/5 stars are the tee boxes but you can play a little back and get clean grass. Definitely can tell it’s a Palmer course by the layout, it can be very challenging but there are plenty of scoring holes as well.
