The Oaks Course

i always like playing this course. the greens had a little sand on them but are looking better from all the dry weather we have had.fairways in great shape.

I booked a tee time on golf now for a hot deal.. I didn't know the course and wasn't expecting a lot,but the course was in great shape!! Fairways were nice and the greens.. The greens were a little sandy but nice... I really enjoyed my round of golf....

The course is nice and its in good shape. It has fast greens. I would definitely recomend it.

Had not visited the Oaks in many years; overall it was worth the trip. Course in decent shape with some spring weeds here and there. Greens okay; still had the "old-style"Bermuda grass sod, so a bit shaggy and on the slow side but pretty smooth. Interesting variety of holes. Routing of holes could be a little more intuitive at times; it helps to have course knowledge. Played by myself in right at 3 hours. Staff very friendly.

I was recommended this course while playing at Cherokee Run so I was expecting great things. Was disappointed. Course was a little ruff in shape for this time of year. No great elevation changes or anything special. The staff were great people starter very nice guy. However in comparison to Cherokee Run this was no way close. Ill drive few extra mile to skip this one go back to Cherokee Run.

I have played this course in the past for $32, regular price, and my recent round for $34 hot deal special (spring time), but I do not plan on playing it at the current regular fee of $45.99 plus taxes (spring time). This is too bad because I really like this course. I think that $35 is a good fair fee for this course,

I played on a monday afternoon for a great price on a hot deal. The course was ok, the greens rolled true and were fast and the fairways were decent. Definitely fun for a good price, not sure I'd drive back over from Midtown Atlanta, but had fun when I played. Staff and Pro were very nice and the pace of play was great too. I played 18 as a single, played thorough one group, and finished in just under two hours. If you're not expecting a top course, but want a nice enjoyable round, I would recommend.

Great course, It would be nice to have a map of the course layout, especially for the first timers to the course

This course has everything I like. Even with the rain night before we were able to enjoy our golf game and not be wet up to our knees. Definitely coming back to check it out at summer time.

Challenging enough but not to much to take away the fun of playing

I really enjoy this course as the greens roll as true as any I've played which makes the round enjoyable. Challenging par 3's (at least from the back tees!). Played on a hot deal which made it a good value.

Course was in good shape especially considering the torrential rain of two days earlier. Would definitely come back.

Another fun round at The Oaks. Friendly and well managed course. Course is always in good shape and enjoy playing here.

Met some friends here because of location and enjoyed playing the course. Greens were recently top dressed and brushed but were very good. Held the ball and rolled well. Fairways were cut a little high but in great condition.

None of us had ever played the course so we were not sure which direction several of the holes turned because we could not see the green from the tee.

Staff was great and food in the grill was good.

This course is about as consistent as they come. Great price and a great little course. Drives in the fairway are rewarded with a decent lie. The champions Bermuda greens always roll fast and they are well kept. If you're looking for cart girls and a mahogany lined 19th hole, this ain't it.
Not overly long and the average weekend golfer can enjoy hitting shorter clubs on approaches to the green. For longer hitters their are corners to cut and 5 pars where you can get home in two. There are no gimmies on this course and errant shots can cost but on the whole, you'll find The Oaks to be very enjoyable.
My only complaint would be the rough, you can be just off the fairway and have to search for the ball. Too far off of the beaten path and you will find US Open type rough only there are no crowds to help you find your ball.

Course was in great shape! Every teebox, every fairway, and every green were in perfect condition. The greens were lightning fast also.

Good greens are critical to good rounds of golf and the greens are in great shape will be back soon
