Turkey Creek Golf Club in Lincoln sprawls across rolling hills that are covered with mature oak forests. The back nine even closely resembles Germany's Black Forest. The centerpiece of the course is the old granite quarry that was transformed into an expansive lake that comes into play on the third and final holes. The golf course is formidable, testing golfers with blind shots and uneven lies, but the challenges are nicely balanced by long, open fairways. Water comes into play several times throughout as well as the towering trees that blanket the landscape. The course will keep golfers on their toes but there is plenty of visual respite available. Players can often catch a glimpse of the abundant wildlife that call Turkey Creek Golf Club home, including deer, quail, foxes, and of course, wild turkeys.

Love this place

Not a bad hole on this course, good test of golf for all player levels I give this 5 stars, but if I could I would make it 4 3/4 stars only because I think the greens could be just a little bit quicker, other than that the greens are perfect.....PLEASE FIX YOUR BALL MARKS.

Slow but a Nice Course

We always love playing Turkey Creek but the pace of play is always slow. The sign in the cart says 4 hrs 25 minutes. Our round was 5 hours and 20 minutes. We did see a Marshall but that did not speed up the pace of ball. The group in front us had their youth golfer driving the cart!!! Course is in excellent condition just be patient and anticipate a SLOW round.

5 hrs but worth it

As with many courses nowadays the backup happened, letting up around hole 16. I'm patient. Always enjoy the water challenges. Greens were slow, animals out, drink cart on, employees exceptional.

5 1/2 hour round on a Thursday afternoon. Saw the Marshall once but nothing improved. Fairways were a little shaggy and greens were on the slow side but overall and great shape.
