Turkey Creek Golf Club in Lincoln sprawls across rolling hills that are covered with mature oak forests. The back nine even closely resembles Germany's Black Forest. The centerpiece of the course is the old granite quarry that was transformed into an expansive lake that comes into play on the third and final holes. The golf course is formidable, testing golfers with blind shots and uneven lies, but the challenges are nicely balanced by long, open fairways. Water comes into play several times throughout as well as the towering trees that blanket the landscape. The course will keep golfers on their toes but there is plenty of visual respite available. Players can often catch a glimpse of the abundant wildlife that call Turkey Creek Golf Club home, including deer, quail, foxes, and of course, wild turkeys.

Turkey Creek

Course was in good condition tee to green. Some challenging holes and routing. Definitely the type of course you need to play a few times. Greens have ball marks throughout every green. You’re constantly putting through mini land mines. It’s a shame that people simply don’t repair them….and not just their own. Nice driving range and putting green. I’ll be back.

Needs a lot of TLC

I've played here many times, and every time I come back the conditions are different. Sometimes very good, sometimes bad. Lately it's been trending more towards bad.This course has so much potential, but they just aren't doing maintenance. Fairways are really poor, lots of bare spots, crabgrass, and overall bad condition. The greens are ok, but they don't roll very true. Very sad to see what used to be a magnificent course in such deteriorated condition. The layout is very good, but needs maintenance and upkeep.

Turkey Creek Golf Course

First off- The pace of play was terrible, people need to learn "Ready Golf" not let's talk about my last shot for 5 minutes in the middle of the fairway. What happened to the Course Marshalls.?

2nd- some of the lower fairways were pretty wet from watering the night before. Made your stands a little squishy when hitting.

3rd- Greens were very slow like they had not been mowed in a while.

Other than that we had a great time and will be back to play again.

The course is too wet and muddy in too many places. Pace of play was very slow. Water came on at 4pm on the green when we were present. Not fun!
