Windy track

Nice course but a 25mile an hour average wind made scoring difficult.

Not worth the cost.

Greens are perfect and layout is cool. The cost is much to high for the quality of everything else. Paid 119 for a 50$ weekend course. Much nicer courses within 25 miles for less.

Great sand and lots of it,

We loved the course. We took a cart, but I would walk next time. Definitely designed to walk with tee boxes close to the previous green. Lots of sand, but good easy to hit of. I would definitely play again.

Not what is used to be

The course conditions have dropped in the past year but prices have gone up. Muddy (dirt) cart paths, patchy grass, greens are slow and shaggy compared to last year. Poor managment.

One of my favorite Bay Area courses. Interesting layout, immaculate greens, and very walkable. We were lucky enough to be paired with a lovely couple who were very familiar with the course. Wonderful day out!

One of the best public course in the Bay Area

Great challenging layout, fairly flat course but lots of bunkers and hazards well placed to account for lack of elevation changes. Fast and large greens with lots of undulation, so work on reading the green or you'll be 3 putting all day. Always very good course condition. I live in San Francisco, but almost never play in the city. TPC Harding park and Presidio are only public worth playing in SF but just way too expensive, even SF Resident rate is $80+ walking! It's worth the gas+toll+time to play in the East Bay instead.

Water Water Everywhere but not enough to irrigate.

Corica Park South received a beautiful and long overdue renovation a few years ago and this was my first replay since the remodel. Always a challenging layout and has become even more so now with much greater green undulations and the removal of about half th previously existing trees, which makes an area with a natural wind factor even tougher. Naturally with the extensive and expensive work comes a dramatic increase in green fees. That is to be expected and still a good value in my mind. The problem is a very clear lack of irrigation ( even in winter ) that will almost certainly return the course to it’s run down dried out (goat pasture) past if continued. It would be a terrible shame to have the potential for such a historic golf course (1927) dissolved due to poor water management My advice is to play it soon, before it and it’s sister course (also undergoing renovation) becomes unplayable again.

One of the best Public Courses in East Bay

I have played the South Course twice since its redesign. It is an excellent walking course with a fun layout and smooth, fast greens.

Truly a great links track.

I am a huge fan of the "new" Corica South course. I have played here several times since it was renovated and have always had a great experience. Very playable and fun, with big greens that are easy to hit, and somewhat tricky to putt well on. The course has the perfect balance between fun and challenge. Two thumbs up!
