One of my favorite courses to play

I always look forward to playing Monterey Pines. The course is well laid out and provides a number of challenging holes in the hills above Monterey bay. It is probably the best value in town. I got a "hole in one" there a while ago on hole #13.

The best and most well kept course in Monterey area for less than $70. Probably the only course. But it’s one of my favorite courses.

This muni looked like a country club

Looking for a new affordable course to play near Monterey. Heard good things about the place. Impressed as soon as I arrived on property. Late afternoon tee time. Guy in the pro shop seemed like kind of a dich-head. Course conditions and setup were amazing. Fun layout decent diversity between golf holes. Course uncrowded so pace of play was great. Guy at the cart barn seemed way more chill and personable. Amazing public course.
