1st Time visitors from MD
The greens and fairways are at country club level. One of our best experiences was at the end of the round when we (group of 8) stopped to have wings and fries. The attendant was amazingly efficient and kind, we had to give him a big tip.
Overall fun time
Good day out on the course. Conditions were favorable and the course was in good condition. Pace of play was slower than normal because the course was busy.
Another great day
The course is very well maintained and the greens were rolling true. We were paired up with 2 singles and had a very enjoyable time.
Monterey Pines
Great course, have played it multiple times when I’m up in Monterey, definitely a great value for the area and always in very good conditions. Would recommend.
Cart guy
This guy was totally rude !!! Said we was had wrong number on cart .. he called clubhouse and we had correct number cart assigned to us ., guy was a total jerk about it ..,
TPC conditions
Played early morning and finished in 2.3 hours. Course in great conditions. Best Muni coursenin Bay Area.
Overall fun time
Good medium length course for most levels of play. Always a good time and friendly people.
The challenge
For a short to medium length course it does have some fun and challenging holes. The greens have extremely challenging layouts and slope changes with fairly difficult breaks. Overall in super good shape but
Driving range is closed for repairs.
Love this course!
Besides the beauty and walkability of this course you get the added excitement of jet planes taking off over the course - a real treat to hear and see. The greens were in great shape and very nice people in the pro shop and on the course.
Inproved
They have made significant improvements since I played last. Really enjoyed the conditions even with the greens running super slow.
