The corse was in great shape. Played with friends and had a great time.

Played last November....nothing real special about the course but it was in pretty good condition, Be advised that if you ever get on their email list somehow....you will never get off.....never.....I've unsubscribed four times in the last three months and no luck.....never give them email information....it's been a year since I played there and I can't get rid of them! I live in Michigan and am getting emils every couple of days.....stop the madness! PLEASE!!!!

Your options in the area of reasonably priced, public courses in the area and getting fewer and fewer. This is a solid course that is not too long. Online tickets go for about $30 with a cart. It was remodeled several years back and they did a very good job.

For the area, and the price, this place is EXCELLENT. The staff are very nice, the course is usually in great shape and most times excellent shape. I routinely shoot + or - 90... pace of play is usually fine.... never met a grouch there. I drive down from the south bay regularly to play with friends for $35 !!! "Old Del Monty is less than a 1/4 mile away, usually in much less better condition, and well over $100 !!!! The only knock I would have is the water in the water hazards is sometimes foul smelling... I'm sure it's "reclaimed water" but occasionally it is stinky-poo-poo-water. The club house is clean and well appointed and the food is good. Highly recommend !

It's not a long corse. Brought the family for an outing and everyone had a great time.

For the area, this is a very nice course and the price is awesome! I play here mostly on tuesday now! I normally play it on the weekends, but, since my work schedule change, I am down to only one day a week! I remember on the weekends, you could still find a nice bargain on golf now and pay a nice discounted price! The greens, even though it rains can be fast! Love the staff; they are always friendly! Love the central coast, but don't want to pay a full price to play golf, the choose Monterey Pines!!

The course was in great shape, the staff friendly and the day beautiful, which brought out a lot of golfers making the pace of play a little slow.

Very lush after the rains but the greens were almost dry as a bone, downhill putts brutal. Only left divots on a few greens cause they were so hard and grass has fine or no grain.

Short course that is in very good condition. Greens are rolling quick and true. Staff is very friendly and you can't beat the value for the money. Need to get out early though, because pace of play really slows down later in the morning.

We were taking a holiday in the area and decided to play this course since it was reasonably priced and you could rent clubs. The course is nestled in and around the jet center so there are runway lights dotting the course. The greens were in real good shape while the fairways were a bit spotty. The course is pretty short but we enjoyed our round. Staff was very friendly. We got our round in under 4 hours. Would recommend playing here if you are in the area.

Nice pace of play on a busy, sunny Saturday. This is a short course but well maintained. Greens and fairways were both really nice.

I don't play much golf I have only played 3-4 times this year. I have a background in golf but it has never been one of my passions. I enjoyed the course. I left early as the weather was getting a bit chilly and I was tired as I don't play much golf and I was walking. It is great exercise and I don't generally walk that far or for that long. I was almost around in 3 hours and I started at 4 pm. The green are generally in good shape and they are a decent size for a shorter course.

This course is in very nice shape. It's a short course , but still requires some thinking about club selection. It plays fairly calm in the morning, but as the day goes on, the wind picks up and it can be a little breezy, which can add a little difficulty.

Overall, prices being what they are on the Monterey Peninsula, it's a pretty good value

Came to Monterey to escape the heat of the Bay Area and knock the rust off the golf game. The course froim tee to green is in great shape. Speed of play was at a nice pace. Finished in a little more than 4 hours, not bad for a foursome.
