Monterey Pines Golf Club

This is a lovely short course of 18 holes that will challenge you and your putter. I played this course years ago before they redid it and let me tell you I love the changes that were made. The greens are rather large and have very many undulations so you better bring your short game and your nerves because on the wrong side of the hole and you will be 3 putting. The fairways are in great condition and there is water in play on some holes on the back nine. I booked a 4:28 pm tee time on here for $10 and finished all 18 holes before the sun went down. The marshals stay on top of pace of play so book that late tee time save a bundle of money and enjoy this little course.

This short course is a great place to sharpen your short game. Nicely manicured greens which impressed me for a muni course makes putting fun. Some holes are lined with tall trees so be careful. First hole is challenging because a road on the right side can be busy with cars and 2 huge sycamore trees guards the green. Plenty of par 3s to give you that opportunity for a hole in one so good luck and have fun! Water in play from the tee on number 10 so stay left.

the bunkers need more sand.

This course is in top shape and for the price you will not find a better mix of friendly staff, awesome food and Beverages, along with a challenging round!!!! A+ ratting by a local golfer.

greens always seem to be in good shape bunkers were decent but there were some holes with big dead spots in fairways that aside course is not tough good for a fun day out

Although it not a long course, the fairways and greens are outstanding and the course is well maintained. I recommend this course to anyone looking for a challenge and a quality experience.

Had a beautiful day to play golf. The course was in good condition, greens quick. The only thing that could have been better is the amount of coots on the two water holes.

We found the staff very friendly and very accommodating. The course was in excellent condition especially the greens. It is a fair course ( as long as you hit the fairway) and you get to watch flights come in overhead but you get use to it.

We will certainly return. .

The green were immaculate. All the bunkers in good shape and raked. Staff very friendly. Fairways are narrow and the rough was long enough that the ball would stick and not run out. Good layout for a shorter course. Looked like they may have had some areas in the rough that did not get water during the draught which are coming back weedy but that was when I was far off-line. Played on a holiday weekend, very relaxing round and a Great value.

I played with a novice and we had an excellent time! Everyone from the club house, starter and food area were great! Course was in great shape.

Fun course, but rather short in yardage. The greens were in excellent shape after 2 days of rain. Lot's of mud outside the fairways though. Built on and around an airport so jets and planes make some noise but not a big deal at all. Great place to tune up your short game with nice, true and quick greens. Ideal place for beginners and ladies without too much experience to play and shape their game as well.

A well maintained public course that is a better than average track. am told the greens are generally great although this day they had recently been punched. Overall, a nice day and I will play it again.

My brother and I played on Thanksgiving. Weather was great and we had a wonderful time....better than parades & football!

Green are a good challenge. With rain fairways are a lot better.
