Monterey Pines Golf Club

Had fun again. Only real complaint was someone ahead of my group was seriously dragging his feet around the cups, creating foot-long gouges. Probably some fat guy who should be bowling instead...

Played 18 holes in the afternoon with my wife. The Pro Shop couldn’t provide a score card for us. It was the first time I’d heard that in 42 years of golf. They said the cards had been on back order for several months (I think I’d find a new printing service). The range, chipping green, putting green, and course were in nice shape and the pace of play never made us have to wait. On the 13th 178 yard par 3 I one hopped it in the hole for my second ace ever. Sure would have liked to have had a score card! We will play there again.

Course is in great condition. Always well maintained.

This is a nicely laid out course. Good value for the price. Enough of a challenge to make it fun. Only drawback is very slow pace of play. Very busy!

The greens and fairways are at country club level. One of our best experiences was at the end of the round when we (group of 8) stopped to have wings and fries. The attendant was amazingly efficient and kind, we had to give him a big tip.

Good day out on the course. Conditions were favorable and the course was in good condition. Pace of play was slower than normal because the course was busy.

The course is very well maintained and the greens were rolling true. We were paired up with 2 singles and had a very enjoyable time.

Great course, have played it multiple times when I’m up in Monterey, definitely a great value for the area and always in very good conditions. Would recommend.
