Copper Canyon Golf Club - Mountain/Vista Course

I almost didn’t review, as I don’t want more people going out here. Great course great shape… going back next week.

Its a drive for almost everyone but worth it

We booked a 12:57 pm twosome (which ended up being a foursome) worried about getting 18 holes in. The pace was great and we finished in under 4 hours!! The course was in great shape. This course is always one that we have to play on our trips to the valley.

Got invited to play here by a member. Played Vista/Lakes combo. The fairways were in great condition. The greens had a few more ball marks than normal. Don't know why more golfers are fixing their marks. The group ahead of us fell behind a hole or two and wouldn't pick up the pace. No ranger to keep pace. Everything else was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We all enjoyed the day.

From tee to green it was beautifully manicured. Played Vistas then Lakes. Greens are nice rolling greens and roll very smoothly. Friendly speed for putting. Bunkers are some of the best around and playable.

The mountain course is fun and a good test of golf. The thing that did not make any sense is that on our first nine we moved at a nice pace and then all of a sudden at the turn we ran into a crowd and had to wait on each shot. It seemed as thought they let groups start on the nine we were turning to. Totally unacceptable and frustrating.

Spectacular views from all three courses! The Mountain course is like playing off the side of a mountain...You can easily see Wickenburg from it!

Conditions at this course are outstanding. And I don't mean for summer conditions. Tees, fairways, and greens are superb. Probably the best sand I have ever played, very well groomed. I'm very critical of courses that let their courses go in the summer, this isn't one of them. I couldn't find anything at this course that I would complain about. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Just wish it was closer to where I live. I drove about 90 miles to play here and I don't regret it. Thanks for a great day. Shooting 76 didn't hurt either!

First time playing this course. All aspects of the course are in great shape. Do yourself a favor and book a round at this beautiful course. I played the Vista/ Lake 9s....

Came out for a mid day round with a super good rate from golf now. I’ve been hearing good reviews about the course condition and they did not disappoint. If you weren’t sweating you wouldn’t know it’s not prime season out here. Got paired with an excellent lady golfer and played in just over 3 hours. Absolutely worth the drive out.

I have played many of the top-end public courses in the Phoenix area, and found the course at Copper Canyon among the best. Excellent conditioning, as the course is managed by the Troon organization. PGA-caliber fairways. I will return for another round.

Long drive from Scottsdale but well worth it. Beautiful course, absolutely perfect greens, fairways are like carpet, tee boxes were perfect, staff is incredibly friendly, the chicken sandwich at the grill afterwards was perfect and the price was unbelievable. I guarantee I will be back and I am telling all my friends.
