Copper Canyon Golf Club - Mountain/Vista Course

My friend texted me last night wanting to play golf today. My back was hurting and I really did not want to play at another dried out nearly dead course like so many are at this time of year. We decided to let me pick the place to play. I chose Copper Canyon. Best decision ever! This place was nearly perfect. The greens are the best I have played this entire spring/summer. They putted true and held a line when chipping and/or running up a shot. The fairways were nearly perfect. Everyone I met was friendly and courteous from the gentleman who took my bag to the starter to the people in the pro shop. Very professional. I was very pleased when the starter offered us a couple of divot tools at the beginning of our round. I have several that I use so I didn't need any, but I took them just in case we needed to give them to our playing partners. The greens rarely had an extra divot mark on them anywhere. so handing out the divot tools is a brilliant idea. I really like it when golfers fix their marks. The beverage cart came around twice on the front 9 and twice on the back 9. I highly recommend this course. P.S. My back still hurt, but I had such a great time I hardly noticed.

Summer conditions, course in (expectable) good condition for a Troon course. Sands traps as expected were hard on some holes, and soft on others especially near the holes. No course cart, expected. Ranger was friendly and staff exceptional. Couldn't afford this place during peak times (Winter) so it was nice to get a chance to play this course during the summer months. They should consider providing more opportunities to local residents to play during this time.

Greens are smooth & quick, Fairways in great shape along with the Tee boxes. Sand Traps are in good shape aswell. Ill play here again.

The entire staff was really friendly. The course was in great shape and the pace of play was great.

played this course yesterday in 115 of az heat. the staff could not have been friendlier or nicer. the conditions especially for this time of year were terrific. the mountain nine is a fabulous layout. this is certainly a hidden gem in the west valley. will absolutely be back later in the summer. if there was one negative, the cooler should be filled with ice, i didn't realize this until the second hole

We read some reviews where some greens keepers were having a hard time keeping up with the heat, not here. Everything from the tee box to the greens were plush and very well taken care of. This is a great course and worth the drive!

Other courses could learn from this one! Course was in great shape even though it is going through transition. Troon is proving again that they are premier in course maintenance!!

Lucky to get an early tee time , very busy course with many members playing. Course is in good condition friendly staff and good pace of play.

Played the Lake and Mountain courses. The Lake course was in great shape. On the Mountain course, the fairways were a bit dry. All the greens where in good shape and held well, except they were a bit slower than expected. First time playing the Mountain course - a couple of blind tee shots from the tips. Well worth the trip.
