My 3rd time playing this course. Front 9 need some work on some of the fairways and green. By the 9th hole fog started to come in and weather got colder. Totally forgot to bring a sweater so I wasn't prepared for the back 9. But the back 9 is what makes me keep coming back to this course. The view, layout, and green is perfect. It was so hard to see on the 12th hole and I probably hit one of the good drive and didn't know my ball rolled to one of the golfers in front of us. So as we caught up to the group in front of us. I apologized right away and we were told that we almost hit them 4 times when my friend and I knew that was the only hole that we might have gotten close to them since we waited for them to leave the green each time. My friend got really upset about it, but I told him to ignore them since they were ignorant and to just focus on the beauty of the back 9. Probably our first Karen moment in the golf course. But anyways we still enjoyed our time and hope to never see that Karen ever again haha

This course is in a beautiful location with stunning views on the back nine. However the course conditions are dreadful. While the greens are OK, the fairways are largely devoid of any green grass - it’s mostly dirt and dead grass. Really poor and not worthy of a course, even a muni, in Monterey. I won’t play it again until the course conditions significantly improve…

My first time playing here. Pace was good. Fairways in bad condition, very thin and dry. Some holes it was difficult to tell which green went with which fairway. Maybe that’s links golf, I don’t know. The greens were bumpy with no consistency between them. Some rolled fast, while others rolled slow.

Bare spots on some fairways that stated right after the T.

Didn’t get a chance to visit the restaurant.

Please put some work into this golf course.

only negative--- lack of grass in fairways and close to greens, making proper chipping (and sometimes putting) from off the green difficult

Gale force winds. Had a great time. Can’t wait to play again!

Well worth the drive from Modesto. The back nine along the ocean was the highlight! Scenery was spectacular.

Only complaint was slow pace of play caused by a foursome of walkers two holes ahead of us.

Will definitely be back!

Hole 18 is the most dangerous course I have ever played. Your driver tee shot can hit the people walking down the street and cars parked right next to the course. It’s par4 but I had to use middle iron with a concern that I would hit the people taking a walk.

Seems they need to install the fence Not sure golf course has an insurance for the possible accident by golfer’s tee shot.

The pace of play was so poor yesterday we quit and didn’t finish the last four holes. Way too many twosomes mixed in with foursomes.
