Pacific Grove Golf Links

We had a perfect sunny day with very light wind. The course was in great shape with good pace of play. The greens ran true. We play the course every time we pass this way heading south. .

This is a great course for the less serious golfer with fantastic views of Monterey Bay! Course played in 4 hours on a Friday afternoon- but it was January. A few challenging Par 3s to test your skills. Will be back!

Fun course, I will definitely play it again. Back 9 is amazing, great value for the money

Course was in great condition! Front nine was more target golf , the back nine opened up and great views! We caught rain on the back 9 but we were well prepared. We missed the 5th tee box and got lost for a minute. We also drove pass the 17th tee box. 😃

For 2 players its was $209 with cart and on a friday. Fun course, great views, great condition!

Could use better signage for tee box, or could be we were from out of town.

*3rd hole par 4, play front of the green. You dont want to be behind, its all down hill from there

One of the most fun courses to play. It’s almost two different courses between the front and back nine. The front is long and pretty standard, tucked along houses and starting with par 3’s. That can cause a traffic jam and pace of play can be slow. Who cares, just enjoy the deer, birds and the gorgeous view of the Bay.

Back nine is where the magic happens (or where you’ll spend all of your time looking for balls in the sand). The views are absolutely majestic, which offsets the occasional hike through the dunes. But it’s so worth it. A mini Pebble Beach experience.

Bring layers cause it can get pretty chilly, especially on the back.

Food is also great at the restaurant, so ensure to stop in for a bite to eat.

I can’t wait to go back.

Simple easy layout and the back nine’s pounding surf is worth a pause and appreciation that we can enjoy this game in a spot like this.

Admittedly, the Front Nine didn’t stand out. It was in good shape but a straightforward layout. Then we made the turn. Wow. Conditions went from warm, sunny and calm to cool, cloudy and windy. And the inspiration went up 1000%. This is why you come to play Pacific Grove. So beautiful. So challenging. So fun. I’d love to play it again.

Front side meh. Back nine along the Pacific was a lot of fun. The views were outstanding.

Considering the area it was a very good value.

Enjoyable course and nice variety between front nine and back nine. Pace of play could benefit from a course Marshall or 2. Ended up behind a group that spent way to much time taking group selfies that slowed play down

I hadn’t played Pacific Grove Golf Links since 1992 & I really enjoyed the course! Very challenging with breathtaking views!

Pace of play was atrocious & painfully slow! 4 1/2 hours to play this short of a Golf Course is not acceptable! But it is really a Gem of a Course. If you don’t mind a really long round of golf I would highly recommend playing Pacific Grove Golf Links.

So many animals to see, on Land many wild and in the sea whales!
