Woodhaven Country Club

Pretty disappointed. Not even a hello during check-in for our round of golf. I asked about the driving range and was told by the pro shop that it was closed (this was 3:30 on a Tuesday). Then we proceeded to see other golfers going to the range with bags of balls. These people checked in AFTER us. ???

Then we were making the turn and rudely stopped by the cart guy. He said, "Where you goin"? He basically said we could only play 2 more holes because he "needed the cart back". There was an hour of daylight left (and we did pay for 18 holes).

Overall, a decent little resort course, but the staff was not friendly at all, and certainly not accommodating. Will pass on this course next time.

Great, well maintained course. My only complaint was the second cut was way too long. Unless you drive right over the ball, you will not see it. We spend way too much time looking for balls that were just off of the fairway.. Greens were great. Tee boxes were great

Greens were slow and filled with divots.

The staff were not friendly in any way. They almost seemed tired and challenged to engage in conversation. We felt like us golfing there was painful for them. Maybe they were having a bad day?

Perfect day for a round of golf. A little windy but enjoyable

This is an excellent course. I am handicapped and it was easy to negotiate the greens and fairways. We will go back

We only played 9 holes, but the course was in very good shape. The carts had gps. Would definitely play there again.

Overall the course was in good shape but the greens needed a lot of work dead grass and rough patches

We booked this 18 hole, 2:30PM tee time through Golf Now, knowing it would be dark by 6PM. We thought under normal conditions we should be able to get in 15 or 16 holes. When we got to the course we found out there would be an hour delay because there was a frost delay in the morning, the morning low that day in Palm Springs was in the low 40's. So we wonder why there was a frost delay, especially for 1 hour. So, on top of that there were 16 youth, 1st tee golfers, waiting to tee off before us. The combination of a frost delay and probable slow play ahead of us, made us ask for a rain check or refund. Since we booked thru Golf Now Woodhaven staff said they could not do either, and the golf now refund policy is that the golf course needs to be closed for a refund to be offered. So we were stuck. Bottom line we paid the 18 hole rate and teed off at 3:25 and only played 8 holes in the light and the 9th in the dark. The staff at Woodhaven was not very helpful and disappeared after 3:00PM. We feel the golf course should never had made a 18 hole tee time available to Golf Now that late in the day when they knew that the 4 tee times ahead of us were for beginner 1st tee golfers. Golf Now should adjust there refund policies to include unusual delays that effect tee times. We have played Woodhaven in the past and enjoyed our rounds. We felt cheated on this day.
