Located in the heart of the Palm Desert in the Coachella Valley, Woodhaven Country Club offers panoramic views that stretch across the San Jacinto and Santa Rosa Mountains. The golf course has a traditional desert landscape but the stunning mountain views elevate it to a truly unique experience. The course has a classic design that is player friendly enough for beginners and even gentle enough juniors. It may not be what you're looking for if you want a formidable test, but more advanced players will appreciate it for a quick casual round. It's also great for working on your short game skills. The golf course is short and tight with immaculately manicured greens. You won't find much water at Woodhaven Country Club except on the 17th, which seems like its nearly all water.

It was members Monster tournament day and the pins were in ridiculous spots on the greens. Took the enjoyment out of the round.

I liked the course and the condition was excellent, unfortunately I was behind a men’s club shotgun , with impossible pin placement and sometimes no pin and sometimes a pin that is not where the hole is , two holes had a barrier of tees placed around the hole , if I’d known this was happening I wouldn’t have played, but I will go back and play again.

Nice Golf Course
The course was in very nice condition , well maintained with nice club house and amenities. Only disappointment was we had to do the front nine twice as there was a tournament.

I dicovered this course about 7 years ago. have played it many times. The course is in great condition this year, new carts again. I was told by another player that homeowners from other courses are playing here and as a result it is very busy. hard to get on. it is quite short but lots of trouble if you miss the fairway.
Good but slow
Needs ranger to keep pace moving. Nice course but very slow. Lots of twosomes but foursomes with beginners slowed down entire day.

Staff could do better
Pretty disappointed. Not even a hello during check-in for our round of golf. I asked about the driving range and was told by the pro shop that it was closed (this was 3:30 on a Tuesday). Then we proceeded to see other golfers going to the range with bags of balls. These people checked in AFTER us. ???
Then we were making the turn and rudely stopped by the cart guy. He said, "Where you goin"? He basically said we could only play 2 more holes because he "needed the cart back". There was an hour of daylight left (and we did pay for 18 holes).
Overall, a decent little resort course, but the staff was not friendly at all, and certainly not accommodating. Will pass on this course next time.

Friendly playable course
Great, well maintained course. My only complaint was the second cut was way too long. Unless you drive right over the ball, you will not see it. We spend way too much time looking for balls that were just off of the fairway.. Greens were great. Tee boxes were great

Somethings do not get better with age
Location- great
Greens were slow and filled with divots.
The staff were not friendly in any way. They almost seemed tired and challenged to engage in conversation. We felt like us golfing there was painful for them. Maybe they were having a bad day?
