Located in the heart of the Palm Desert in the Coachella Valley, Woodhaven Country Club offers panoramic views that stretch across the San Jacinto and Santa Rosa Mountains. The golf course has a traditional desert landscape but the stunning mountain views elevate it to a truly unique experience. The course has a classic design that is player friendly enough for beginners and even gentle enough juniors. It may not be what you're looking for if you want a formidable test, but more advanced players will appreciate it for a quick casual round. It's also great for working on your short game skills. The golf course is short and tight with immaculately manicured greens. You won't find much water at Woodhaven Country Club except on the 17th, which seems like its nearly all water.

Golf Day
Had a blast, beautiful course well taken care of. Will for sure play again.
I like to play this course, however
I like to play this course, however, they need to be more diligent in mowing the rough. Especially on the 5th hole. The rough is so high that even on the fairway the ball is hard to find. I think the greenskeeper should be more aware that when the ball is hard to find, it slows play. Please when this review is read, let the people responsible for maintaining the course know to mow the rough a little lower.
Be Aware!
The TeeOff booking saud walking. I had never anyone walking the course. I tried repeatedly to call the course to see if this was an error. Nobody answers the phone. I booked 4 of us at $32 each. Upon arriving the clerk "Assistant Golf Pro" was rude and said it would be $65 each to use a cart. He even said TeeOff needs to do a better job showing it is a walking rate. When I said I repeatedly called to clarify his response was "We're busy", "$65 is a great rate" and "that's the way it is". He treated us like tourists that will never be back... we live here, but will definitely never return to Woodhaven.
Great Time Golfing
This is a great course, friendly staff and great course conditions. Finished the round in about 3.5 hours. After the round we went for a beer and food, which was great. Definitely will play here again!!

Pace of play
My biggest complaint is the pace of play. They put golfers out every 7 minutes which is to fast. This will lead to back ups no matter what you do there after. We waited on every shot! Finished in over 4 1/2 hours which is to long for a course if this length. Not happy!
