Located in the heart of the Palm Desert in the Coachella Valley, Woodhaven Country Club offers panoramic views that stretch across the San Jacinto and Santa Rosa Mountains. The golf course has a traditional desert landscape but the stunning mountain views elevate it to a truly unique experience. The course has a classic design that is player friendly enough for beginners and even gentle enough juniors. It may not be what you're looking for if you want a formidable test, but more advanced players will appreciate it for a quick casual round. It's also great for working on your short game skills. The golf course is short and tight with immaculately manicured greens. You won't find much water at Woodhaven Country Club except on the 17th, which seems like its nearly all water.

First time players
We’d never been to a golf course in the Coachella Valley, and we are novice teen players and one parent, therefore we didn’t know about the club rules/customs.
No Jeans and No collarless shirts or no access. Therefore had to purchase 3 high priced polo shirts
At the pro shop. All the staff we encountered were friendly. The price to play was also reasonable. The course was nice and green and was easy to follow with the map. We had a great time using this course.
I was a little nervous since the homes are quite close to the course and thought we might have runaway balls. Fortunately no homes, denizens or players were harmed.
I would recommend going last if you are a novice this way you’re not being rushed to move to the next hole, you can take your time and enjoy the course. This was a pleasant course and all staff were friendly.
pace
We were 40 min late getting off, the clubhouse kept sending more people to the #1 tee box, starter was totally confused, the members just kept umping ahead of everyone regardless of there time, total joke.

Nice course
Friendly staff, well maintained course, nice layout. The greens could have been a bit quicker but they weren’t bad. Got paired up with a fabulous couple from Seattle. Awesome afternoon of golf.
Beginner golfers in fron of us. They waited until the group ahead were off the tee until they hit their driver. They were sharing golf clubs. 3 tee time groups backed up

Great Conditions Horrible Pace of Play
Course is in immaculate condition, one of the best "small" golf course conditions I have played in quite some time. Unfortunately the pace of play was horrendous. Teeing off at 2:15 pm, I didn't expect to get all 18 holes in but I didn't expect to only get 9 holes in, I would play again but would need to ensure this was an "off day".

Slow Day
It was a 4 hr 15 minute round. Grass on greens was hairy and yellow which affected putts. I enjoyed the day….. sunny and warm at 78 degrees.
A beautiful course, but the pace of play after 3:00 was very slow.
Great condition and fun to play
Had later tee time so got dark before we could finish. Haven’t played there for two years and found it in great condition.
