Located in the heart of the Palm Desert in the Coachella Valley, Woodhaven Country Club offers panoramic views that stretch across the San Jacinto and Santa Rosa Mountains. The golf course has a traditional desert landscape but the stunning mountain views elevate it to a truly unique experience. The course has a classic design that is player friendly enough for beginners and even gentle enough juniors. It may not be what you're looking for if you want a formidable test, but more advanced players will appreciate it for a quick casual round. It's also great for working on your short game skills. The golf course is short and tight with immaculately manicured greens. You won't find much water at Woodhaven Country Club except on the 17th, which seems like its nearly all water.

Kinda confusing where to go
Slow play but nice! Probably shouldn’t book outside tee times the same day as a Ladies member guest! Staff was soooo busy but still tried to keep things moving!
Amazing Condition
Woodhaven was in excellent condition which it was not two years ago. Full compliments to the groundskeepers!
course condition
have always liked the course and still do. Bui the rough is far too deep. can't find the ball. slows down play. fairways also need cutting. very liittle roll because of it.
Can't understand why you don't use the mowers more often particularly on the 4 inch deep rough!!

Usually a very nice course
Unfortunately there was a member event in the morning that ran over putting the later tee times 1 hour behind. Just about finished by 7 with sunset at 655. There was no discussion about any discount for this issue. It is great course never had this kind of a problem before.
Wood haven Sat Afternoon
Only complaint was pace of play. Started some 25 minutes behind schedule and pace was well over 2 hours for front nine.
Mishandled tee time
My tee time got pushed back 2hours. They had an outing.
They told me to write ✍️ for a credit
While apologetic, they did nothing to accommodate me so I went elsewhere.
Please credit me for today’s charges.

Fun course
Woodhaven has wide fairways that are in great condition and work well for those golfers who haven’t golfed in awhile. The pace of play is good and the golf carts are dependable. There is not much variety in the holes and some are placed closely together, but we had a great experience on the two days we were there. There was also a good selection of women’s golf clothing snd hear, which you sometimes don’t see.
Saturday Golf
Unfortunately for me the club was having a Pro/ Am tournament which was fun for the club members but so much fun for daily paid players like myself
I stopped after 9 holes.
Probably not a good idea to book outsiders under those conditions unless the club needs the money.
