Located in the heart of the Palm Desert in the Coachella Valley, Woodhaven Country Club offers panoramic views that stretch across the San Jacinto and Santa Rosa Mountains. The golf course has a traditional desert landscape but the stunning mountain views elevate it to a truly unique experience. The course has a classic design that is player friendly enough for beginners and even gentle enough juniors. It may not be what you're looking for if you want a formidable test, but more advanced players will appreciate it for a quick casual round. It's also great for working on your short game skills. The golf course is short and tight with immaculately manicured greens. You won't find much water at Woodhaven Country Club except on the 17th, which seems like its nearly all water.

Pace
Biggest issue is pace of play. Very slow every time I played there.
Hard sand bunkers
Nice course and not busy on the day that we walked 9 holes. Bunkers had very hard sand, making it difficult to hit out.

Very slow round
If you want to play a real annoying slow round this is the place.
They do not allow enough time between Tee times so the course backs up right from the first hole.
It is a short course but the slow play waiting every single shot takes the enjoyment out of playing this course.

Bad Manners
Will not return due to an overbearing/pushy groundsman who kept telling me to move my cart.
He was very unprofessional.
Very Nice Course
Great vibe, great course conditions, great practice and warm up facilities, scenic with some very pretty holes, awesome golf carts, but slow pace of play. I highly recommend everyone to play this course. A very underrated course.
Woodhaven
The course is in nice condition. It was very busy and play was slow. The situation was worsened with them having two groups of five playing ahead of us. Otherwise, the practice facilities are good and the staff is always friendly.

Loud
Course is tight. Very loud traffic noise on 9 holes. Tee boxes too close to greens. Many tee boxes are behind car path. Greens are good and fairways tight

I was pleasantly surprised about the condition and layout of the course. It’s not long even from the tips but it was a nice experience and I would play it again. Good value
