Located in the heart of the Palm Desert in the Coachella Valley, Woodhaven Country Club offers panoramic views that stretch across the San Jacinto and Santa Rosa Mountains. The golf course has a traditional desert landscape but the stunning mountain views elevate it to a truly unique experience. The course has a classic design that is player friendly enough for beginners and even gentle enough juniors. It may not be what you're looking for if you want a formidable test, but more advanced players will appreciate it for a quick casual round. It's also great for working on your short game skills. The golf course is short and tight with immaculately manicured greens. You won't find much water at Woodhaven Country Club except on the 17th, which seems like its nearly all water.

Renewing golf play
Golf was slow. Complaints to the golf marshall moved the foursome in front along faster they were very slow on the greens. Bunkers were hard baked sand.
Fun round
The course is in nice shape. Very green/lush. Finished in well under four hours and never had to wait on the group ahead of us. The greens; however, were very slow.
A day at Woodhaven
The course is in great shape and it was nice to get balls to practice.
The staff is friendly and professional.
It's nice to see a friendly and happy Starter which makes for a good start to playing.
There should be a Players Assistant to request slow players to either let faster players through, or ask them to play faster. There were two holes free before them. This made for a long slow play and we could have finished earlier than playing the 18th in deep twilight. Thank you.

Hidden Gem
Great course for golfers of all levels to test their skills, and at a low price. Don't expect a high end Clubhouse or resort level amenities.
Nice course
Friendly staff. Great Clubhouse with a view. Greens were slow and pin placement unfair, less than 5 feet from the edges, perhaps its due to maintenance. Other than that, good course and value for money.
Pace of play sucked
You need a Marshall or someone to get the really slow golfers to either pick up.the pace or let you play through. Very frustrating. Took over 4 1/2 hours to play 18 holes. The people in front of us had at lease two hole open in front of them. Really bad!!!!
Very Enjoyable
Great course and staff. Only negative was slow round, almost 4 1/2 hours.
Talked to other players who purchased the monthly tier memberships. What a great deal!
Hope to take advantage of this program next November.

It took 3 hours to play 9 holes. Waited 10+minutes between shots.
We quit after 9 holes.
They gave us 9 hole complimentary coupon!
We really should be reimbursed for the whole round
as the nine we played was a total disaster.

You played in less than 5 hours on a weekend during peak season in the Coachella Valley. I would say that is normal pace of play.
