Nice 9 hole course.
Great course for a quick 9. Par 30 course is fun and great for kids, so you must be patient at times. Only issue I had was geese feces at many areas and sand traps (the few) are unplayable. Other than that, I really enjoy playing in this course!
A little gem!
Pleasanton Golf Center is an excellent course for a practice round. Great value through GolfNow and easy to book.

Great little course
Nice flat 9 hole course with a couple of holes you can actually use driver (under 230yds). Walked it and pace of play was great. I'm an intermediate golfer (13 handicap) and I was golfing with a (really) beginner friend and we didn't hold up the experienced foursome behind us. For being in the middle of the Pleasanton horse track (at the fairgrounds), the fairways are relatively generous and greens were in good order. Perfect place to get in a quick 9 holes and use most of your bag. Good place or beginners to learn and families to share the game with each other. I usually play Mare Island, Blue Rock, Cypress Lakes, Chardonnay, Eagle Vines and Napa/JFK... I plan on coming back to this nice 9 hole.
The Fairgrounds
Playing at the Fairgrounds is always fun, it's close, it's fast& nothing fancy. You get what you pay for.
I love it & come back often.
Just Fine
Good course to work on one's game. The course is well maintained...fairways and greens in great shape.
Good nine hole course
Good nine hole course, in good condition considering the drought. Small greens make it a good challenge while also being a good course for kids.
Mid-Day Play
Had a great time at Pleasanton Golf Center. Excellent place to golf for a fast 9 holes. Staff is very friendly and informative and greens were in excellent condition. Very few people on the course so it was great to be able to take our time! Played at 11:30 and finished at 12:45pm
Family friendly and good beginner and intermediate course
Played here with my 2 kids third time now, with GolfNow booking. It's nice for the whole family with beginner players. It's safe, good paced, fun. Smaller greens also challenge intermediate players to hit good iron shots. Three par 4's also give players to try their drivers while demanding accuracy. The lake in the middle gave all a feel of water hazard, especially beginners.
Nice course to work on your iron game
This course is very affordable and well-suited for beginners and high-handicappers. The layout is flat, easy to walk, has elevated greens and is relatively short with 6 par-3's. My wife and I are high handicappers and play routinely mid-week to work on improving our iron shots and short game. One pond on the course comes into play on holes 7 & 8 and the elevated, small greens require high approach shots to hold the ball on the greens. Pace of play is usually 75-90 minutes and always a good time.
Son
It's one of the best around for anyone getting into the game it's just right!
Great place to play
Really enjoy playing this course. Right in my back yard. Paul is very nice and always greets me with a smile and makes me want to come back again very soon.
quick round
Whenever i want to brush up my golf stroke and get in a quick 9 holes in i come to the Pleasanton Fairground golf course.
This is a well maintained short course
When you have just a couple of hours and want to golf this 9 hole is easy to get to, easy to play and yet facilitates achieving a good practice round. Good for new golfers but experienced golfers benefit too!
Lousy Entrance
I love to play here because I am a beginner and this course is short, flat, and well groomed. Many of the greens are turtle backed, and there are tough pin placements, so the short game needs to be solid. I don't like the entrance to the parking lot, there is a one way tunnel, and honking is the only way to signal passing through. The weekend we played, there was a junior tournament and junior group lessons going on. There were lot of parents around the practice areas helping their kids learn to chip onto the only putting practice area, which was annoying. After we teed off the round was pleasant, and we no longer noticed the constant horn honking until we finished our nine holes. This course needs a better way to signal a car is coming in or out of the tunnel on the weekend. During mid-week, unless the juniors are at group lessons, it's pretty quiet. The driving range is cheap, but short and no woods are allowed. This is a great course to practice the short game.
good course but a bit short
It's a good and well maintained course but bit short! Out of all holes a pond by hole 7/8 was interesting challange! Its good course for testing your accuracy on short game!
