Pleasanton Golf Center
This golf course is great for what you pay. The cart is definitely not needed as this course is very walkable. If you use the hot deal, it's only $5 to play 9 holes! This course is by far one of the best around for only having to pay $5. Theres a pond and 2 par 4 holes here. If you need to get in an out in about 1.5-2 hours, this is the spot. I come here almost every weekend when I have the time. Great staff as well.
Good 9-Hole Course
Great for a quick 9-hole round and provides good opportunity to test your short game.
Great Value!!!
So even though this is a very small course it plays very wide open with not too many traps or places to lose your ball. Built in the middle of a horse race track at the Alameda County Fairgrounds gives is a bit of a novelty affect but it's a nice little course for beginners to practice irons. Staff is great and GolfNow has some great deals. Would highly recommend for beginners and young golfers.
Great for Kids/Learners
This is a fun little 9 hole course. Played it with my kids and we all had a great time.
Great beginners course
Teaching my wife how to play, not just a chip and putt, there are two par 4's. Open and simple layout. Hidden gem for beginners, or if you want to work on your short iron play.
Fairgrounds Golf
Great place to play 9 holes. Reasonable price for a quick round of golf.
Beginners Course
Great low-stress course for seniors and those new to golf.
Great course for beginners
This course is well maintained. It has a combination of 3 Par-4 holes and 6 par-3 holes. Good practice course to bring someone who is just getting a hang of golfing
Nice 9 hole course.
Great course for a quick 9. Par 30 course is fun and great for kids, so you must be patient at times. Only issue I had was geese feces at many areas and sand traps (the few) are unplayable. Other than that, I really enjoy playing in this course!
A little gem!
Pleasanton Golf Center is an excellent course for a practice round. Great value through GolfNow and easy to book.

Great little course
Nice flat 9 hole course with a couple of holes you can actually use driver (under 230yds). Walked it and pace of play was great. I'm an intermediate golfer (13 handicap) and I was golfing with a (really) beginner friend and we didn't hold up the experienced foursome behind us. For being in the middle of the Pleasanton horse track (at the fairgrounds), the fairways are relatively generous and greens were in good order. Perfect place to get in a quick 9 holes and use most of your bag. Good place or beginners to learn and families to share the game with each other. I usually play Mare Island, Blue Rock, Cypress Lakes, Chardonnay, Eagle Vines and Napa/JFK... I plan on coming back to this nice 9 hole.
The Fairgrounds
Playing at the Fairgrounds is always fun, it's close, it's fast& nothing fancy. You get what you pay for.
I love it & come back often.
Just Fine
Good course to work on one's game. The course is well maintained...fairways and greens in great shape.
